I was very excited about hearing about the restaurant and store, and looking at the shelves they carry some fantastic products and have very fresh fish (and a good variety).
So it was a bit of the disappointment then the lobster bisque reminded me more of something from a can than something from a creative chef. The Lobster poutine was interesting but way too much gravy and the taste was bland. The salmon special was nice and well crafted, however the pasta special was a disappointment, the clams did not come trough rather the spicing made us think it was made with bacon. The moule frit were very nice and the trout was fine but again the flavour was not exciting at all.
Service was mixed, we had 2 waiters,, one good the other so so.
Overall I am not sure I would come back based on the price but do have to give them credit for a great concept as well as a great atmosphere, the layout is great and the menu is well balanced and intersting
