If Francisco "Pancho" Villa was still alive he would sue to have his name taken off this restaurant. An insult to real Mexican food. When I entered I asked to be seated inside rather than the outside area. Seated immediately and within the first 2 minutes I was approached by the waitress for my drink order and food order. She brought salsa and chips and the water I asked for. The chips were stale and the "salsa" was right out of a can. Diced tomato in a waterery mix. It lacked taste. It needs cilantro and some onion.
My entree of shrimp and crab enchilada was covered in a tomato salsa. The corn tortilla this awful mix of tiny shrimp and imitation crab had either been put in a microwave or overbaked turning crisp on the edges. Who ever decided to put celery mixed in with the shrimp and crab needs to read a recipe book. There was no fake crab at all in one of the enchiladas and a small piece in the other. The rice was tasteless and the salad was "hot" having sat on the hot dish. The salad became almost like a liquid sitting on the plate.
I had ordered a margarita which was nice but as the excessive amount of ice melted it like the food became tasteless.
Once the drink and food was served the waitress never once returned to my table to see if I was enjoying the meal or needed anything else. Take the title "Mexican" off this restaurant. It is not Mexican food.
The location is good and the outside eating area I am sure is pleasant on a cool night but go someplace else if you want good food and if it is Mexican you desire go someplace else.
The meal and one drink came to $22.50.
