Description: We are a friendly, clean and comfortable place to come and enjoy really delicious Malaysian, Indonesian, and vegetarian cuisine. We have been open in Ottawa since 1985, and take pride in providing consistant quality and excellence. Our 70 item menu offers a range of popular dishes such as satay, gado gado, rendang, mee goreng, and many other delicious selections. Our food ranges from child friendly and mild dishes to very hot dishes that only some will enjoy. All of theses are marked clearly on our menu. We are happy to tailor selections to accommodate intolerances and allergies. Also our food is completely halal!

Classic Malaysian cuisine, attentive service Spring Rolls to die for. We're addicted to them - sometimes we just order 8 or so and have them for supper. They make them fresh as ordered, no frozen product getting cooked.

The food was great. The restaurant is really old and age shows in part of the restaurants including the washrooms. The hostess, a young lady was super nice. However, The server (a lady) asked me a personal question based on racial background. A further discussion with her lead me to conclude why she asked such a question. It is really strange and odd to be asked about your background after less than 2 minutes of being seated even though you did not do anything wrong.

This place has a slightly different menu compared to other Asian restaurants. If you like it hot they will make it as hot as you want; don`t ask for as hot as they can make it cause you`ll be belching fire all night. The food is very good and so is the service. The owners are always on the premises. For something different, this place is certainly worth a try.
