South Ottawa. Budget price. Nice quiet location. Clean. Good Beds. Shower/washroom solid, including shower supplies. Everything you want for a budget price.

I was looking for a place not too far from the airport, yet relatively close to Carleton university. This place was ideal for this. A typical motel, a good 30 rooms, most of them with parking right in front of the door. It is not a very modern place, but clean. Muffins, cereal, the paper and coffee were available at the lobby for free in the mornings. Internet access was very slow. All in all, an ok place for 100$/night.

We had a great overall experience staying at the Rideau Heights Inn. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a king room with a sofa bed. The bath area had been completely redone, the room was immaculate and the bed was as comfortable as any that we have slept in. There was a refrigerator in the room and a microwave at the front desk that we could use. The location is away from the downtown bustle but a short drive to see all the sights. I would recommend this motel to anyone who does not need to be right downtown and who does not want to pay the downtown prices.

if you are looking for a very pleasant stay in a city known for high accomodation prices,go no further.this is a family run motel that has been apart of the ottawa scene for a long time.it has almost a retro feel to it with spacious ground and free parking, also unusual in this town, in a quiet area away from the travel hordes and near the airport.it has very clean, comfortable rooms, and while it doesn't have all the amenities of the big brand hotels,it has enough to make most casual travellers happy.a microwave in the office can provide hot meals and free coffee and muffins get you going in the morning.

Had to request a room change only to find the same problem in a room on second level. Management is making guests sign a form at check in stating they will be responsible for cleaning fees of $100. if smoking happens in room. I don't think this is working!! Poor ventilation. Tiny window that opens in front and no circulation (fan or window in bathroom). Property clean but rooms cleary have a musty smell...this is not pleasant and not what I want to breathe while on vacation.
