This is one of the few remaining old school taverns left in the city, and the neighborhood is prime for gentrification, so frequent the place soon.
We have eaten there twice for lunch this summer and enjoyed it.
Pretty good food (I tried the meatball pizza on the first visit and fish and chips on the second)....both were daily specials and both good and reasonably priced.
Not gourmet, but good eats and enjoyable. The sort of venue I recall from my youth.....but with better food.
