“We leave this land for future generations”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

Showing other cities in North America that not every inch of land near to the city need be consumed as the developers request it. Leave some scarce space for future generations to make their mark in a significant way.

“great walking trails”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

We like to use the walking trails off of Hunt Club West - they are great for easy hikes with kids, and they are accessible year round. Our kids love hand-feeding chikadees on the trails.

“Love it”
Reviewed June 13, 2012

A large 22,000 hectare parcel of Federal land surrounding the capital. It is a defining characteristic of the City for those who live here and it has many great walks. Check out the world recognized Mer Bleue, a huge bog in the east part of town or the great trails at Stoney Swamp in the west.
