We stayed one night due to its close proximity to the CTC. We walked to the venue from the hotel (15 mins) for the Elton John concert. My first time at this property and they made us feel at home. Even gave us a complimentary upgrade to a very spacious suite. Very nice! All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast had everything you could want. All in all we had a wonderful stay!

We are staying at the Country Inn and Suites while our floors are bring redone and the reason we chose it over other local hotels is that we wanted a suite so we could put the kids to bed in one room and we could be in the other. Unfortunately, whatever "genius" designed the suite did not see fit to put ANY sort of division between the bedroom and living room. Therefore, I am now sitting in the dark, listening to the kids complain about the light (only coming from my phone as we had to turn off all the lights). The hotel otherwise seems totally fine, but if you are booking the one-bedroom suite and expecting an actual room with a door....you should look elsewhere.

Dear Guest,

Our sincere apologies that our guest room suites do not offer a door to the bedroom portion of the room. I can appreciate the inconvenience this caused to you and your family, especially under the circumstances of your home being under renovations.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us.

Sincerely,

Love The Country Inn, been there on 4 different occasions and service always great. Breakfast very diversified for an included breakfast, scrabbled eggs, beacon, waffles, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, etc. etc. Beds very comfortable, big windows, not cheap at 149$ but all worth it !

Room Tip: Room on main floor have 10 feet ceiling, very comfortable and airy !

King suite room was nice. Fold out couch uncomfortable to sleep on. Room needs a door or curtain to separate bedroom from sitting area. Bathroom the only privacy you get and it wasn't large enough. Fridge, microwave and counter were nice, just needed an extra sink for when the bathroom was in use. Breakfast area had some nice choices. The hot part wasn't that tasty. Sausage patties and pancake type eggs were a bit undesirable. Bacon with scrambled was the better mornings offering. Could hear water running all night from somewhere....
Although they mention the fresh cookies often in their advertisement, I never saw one the whole three days we were there. Free coffee in lobby but never a cup when I went to get one. All in all, decent but expensive. I believe price is high due close proximity to the Canadian Tire Center. I have stayed in better for same price for a suite.
