I love burgers, but have been disappointed by such places as the works as they go for gimmicks and toppings rather than a solid patty. The patty is what makes the burger, and at Hinton Burger they have got it right. The Toppings selection although not vast is good as well.
Mostly take out with a few tables available, and picnic tables when the weather is nice.

Enjoy

Tasty burgers and corn dog. Be prepared to wait as this is not a fast food place but well worth it. Seating is very limited; take-out is your best bet. It's open till 8 p.m. so go early. Also parking is difficult during prime meal times. Be considerate for the local residents and don't block any driveways.

Have been meaning to go to this diner for a while now after hearing good reviews. i wasnt disappointed. I ordered two of their fully loaded Hintonburgers with fries and soda. Came to just over $20 which is an ok price. They only accepted cash today, no debit available on this visit. The burgers took about 10-12 mins to arrive, service was quick and friendly.
The burgers were tasty, juicy and lots of flavor. The toppings were plentiful and fresh. big bonus was the bread bun....it stayed intact from start to finish, unlike 5guys and TheWorks burgers which are falling apart within seconds of unwrapping them, soggy bread makes for a disappointing experience in my mind. Fries were hot and reasonably tasty. Overall, this is a great stop for a quick good quality burger. Will definetly be returning. Keep up the good work!

This place is no frills. You'll be hard pressed to find parking and a seat, so get takeout if you live in the area. If you don't call your order in ahead of time, you'll probably have to wait a while. And if you want a funky menu, go to The Works.

But if you want the best burger, by far, in Ottawa — a juicy, greasy-but-not-too-greasy bacon-cheeseburger, with the toppings of your choice (make sure to ask for the off-menu fried onions at no extra charge and garlic sauce) — this is the place to go. Their fries are top-notch too. And their prices are very reasonable — two people can get burgers, fries and pops for about $20, including tax.

A head's up that they only take cash (there is an ATM inside if you're short).
