I booked this and prepaid in April
For 7 days on arriving I was told
50.00 hold on my Visa arrived
Saturday today Tuesday checked my visa and a pending 801.00
Contacted Visa this was Days in
Was told to contact. After a few
Minutes on the phone I was told they would check this out. The
Person called and informed me someone else room was charged to my visa 165.00 less than the
900 plus paid. I brought this to
The managements attention
And was told this was just an
Error and was charged twice.
We never paid this amount asked
For a reduction from the original
Visa payment. My Visa is still
Pending 801.00 . Make sure you
Check your Visa for errors.

Overall very good and comfortable stay, we were a wedding party and had about 10 rooms, they were all arranged on the same floor so this was very convenient. Staff was very cooperative and courteous, breakfast was great, checkin checkout was quick

Hotel is nice looking, it looks like recent renos. Our room smelled like fish when we got in, possibly because we were right above the restaurant and the window had been left open. Closing the window and cranking the ac helped a bit. It is handy to the Canadian Tire Centre and there are stores and restaurants close by. Note that this hotel seems popular with tours - there had to be 3 tour groups the night we were there (including 2 school trips), so it was a challenge getting in to get the continental breakfast - we had to wait for the children and the older tour group to clear, and managed to eat before the next group of kids came down.
