Beautiful show, great music even if the central tower was not illuminated due to technical difficulties.

Highly recommend the show!

MosAika was fantastic. It was lovely to sit on the grass at Parliament Hill and learn about Canada's history. The colours and graphics were beautiful, as was the music. Fun for the whole family.

Great show, loved the colours and history. But then at the end they had to add in some stuff that was okay, but can we sometimes just get away from political correctness and stick with the history. Very well done despite this. Take lawn chairs, and jacket if evening breezy, as it is open to the elements and can be a little cool for those that are older. Show is 30 minutes long. Seating available on front lawn of Parliament Hill, and also wheelchair accessible. Well done!

I got to the parliament building at about 30 minutes before the scheduled time for MosAika, just to get a good spot for the viewing. It was a good move.
Went through the entire 30 minutes with enthusiasm, learnt a bit about Canadian history and enjoyed the colorful presentation.

We went in mid-August 2014, during an unusually cold and wet week for Ottawa (50s and low 60s most of the week, off-and-on drizzle). This show starts at between 9 and 10 pm (depending on what time of the summer or fall it is), and lasts about 30 minutes. You probably should get there 15 minutes before the show starts, and if you can bring a lawn chair or blanket, you'll be way ahead of the game. It is spectacular! It is not, at its core, a light show - it is really a film using video, photos, audio, and light-drawn figures and patterns in bright colors against the parliament building. The sound is easy to hear, and it is a very good 30-minute history of Canada. I've never seen anything like it, and as a dual-citizen of the U.S. and Canada, I got emotional toward the end of the program. Big thumbs up. Only negative: We went at a time of year when the event started at 10 pm, which makes for a very long night if you have children. They liked it, but struggled to stay awake, taking away a bit from our enjoyment. I'm not sure why they can't begin the presentation 30 minutes earlier - but you have to see this, and it is free.
