At 9:30 pm in August, hundreds of people were on Parliament Hill for the free light show, projected unto the Clock Tower and East/West Wings. We had arrived with our lawn chairs ~ 9 pm to find a very large crowd already gathered. We stayed in the back and had a great view. The sound - the descriptions - was sometimes hard to hear. A guard had informed us that there were still a lots of free spots nearer the front of the building. It was easier to leave from the back.
The show started on time and went on for 35 minutes. It was easier to follow the history, the seasons, the personalities (ie.Terry Fox) since we are Canadians, but hear the end, it becomes solely "an art show" - brilliantly done. Go and enjoy !!!More
