Room is big and clean, and unlike most of the hotels in downtown area, the parking is free, and it is close to 407 highway, only 1 exit to university of Ottawa, 2 exits to downtown area. The breakfast is good, few hot items, and a pancake maker which is very popular, the area for breakfast could get crowded, not so much space between tables.
We will stay here next time when in ottawa to visit parents / grandparents.

Just a little getaway as a family. Stayed at The Hampton in by Hilton on 100 Coventry Road.
About 4 km. from downtoown Ottawa. We checked in around 3 p.m. was given room 330 & 332. Nice big rooms with connecting door. which was great for our daughters. Comfortable beds, flat screen tv. microwave, fridge and what a large bathroom...we could have had a party in there. Very clean staff was very couteous and attentive. Got a great tip for supper one night from boro, He recommended the Mongolian Village Grill. A little hard to find because its kind of hidden but food was amazing. We had a great nights sleep and the complimentary hor buffet breakfast was very good. Fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon , muffins bagels nda you can even make your very own fresh belgian waffles.....great!
Would definately stay at the Hampton Inn again. Thankyou to everyone for making our stay very pleasant.

We stayed here for 3 days when we were in the midst of moving out of our house. We got two adjoining rooms and found them quite spacious for our family of 5. They were nice and clean and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast is ok but varies in quality from day to day. Some days are better than others. This hotel is mostly for business travellers. Its not one I would recommend to tourists who want to be in the heart of Ottawa although its only about a 10 minute drive to downtown. There is no view except of the busy parkway but the rooms are very quiet and you don't hear any noise. The pool was nice as well.

My wife and kids and I were there for three nights and had absolutely no complaints. The room was quite larger than what I expected and had great counter space for all our necessities. It is in a great location about ten minutes away from the Ottawa dowtown core.

Beds were comfortable and breakfast was a typical waffles, cereal and toast type selection. I enjoyed the hot chocolate at nights and have not seen that in other Hampton's that I've stayed at.

The underground parking is well lit and secure with ample parking space. My overall impression of the hotel was great. Customer service at the front desk were all very friendly and imformative. It was an overall joy to stay at this hotel. I will definatelyn return.

Stayed here for 2 nights during a driving tour of Eastern Canada.

Stayed at Hampton Inns in the US before, and feel that they are good value for money. This one was conveniently placed when driving from Montreal in that we didn't need to drive through Ottawa to get to it.

Room was very large, with much bigger than usual bathroom. Bed was comfortable, although not quite as good as in other Hamptons we've stayed in. There are a few places to eat locally but you need to drive a way down the road to find them, and there's not a huge selection. We found it better to eat when we were in Ottawa because there were plenty to choose from there.

Easiest way to get into Ottawa was to take a cab; they are usually waiting outside the hotel, but if not the receptionist calls one and it arrives within minutes. Cost was around $15 for one-way trip.

Only criticism of this hotel was that the breakfast room was far too small; we were there over a weekend and struggled to get a seat to eat breakfast - people were sitting all over the reception area eating breakfast when we left!
