We arrived at the hotel at noon on a Thursday and were very happy that our room was ready so we could check-in immediately. The front desk staff were very polite. The hotel is within walking distance of the Parliament Buildings, Rideau Centre, Rideau Canal, and Byward Market. About a block away, on Elgin Street, there are lots of restaurants and stores to choose from. Once you are there, park your car, and you can walk everywhere.

We had a one bedroom with a living room that also had a pull-out couch. The kitchen was small, but okay for 2 people. The living room and furniture was dated and not very comfortable for sitting on, but it was okay for a few days stay.

Love the shower - it was like a waterfall thundering down on me - nice change from the water-saving shower head I have at home.

There were 2 queen size beds in the bedroom, and they were very comfortable. When in the bedroom we could hear the guests in the next room - walls are very thin.

There is very limited underground parking, and it's first reserved (checked-in), first-received. We were lucky enough to get an inside parking spot.

The hotel is very easy to find, and getting in and out of the city is no problem at all.

Room Tip: Recommend a room away from the elevators because you can hear noises from other rooms and people in...

This is a good place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the parliament buildings and the byward market. There are restaurants and even a grocery store nearby. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. There was a kitchenette and bathroom and I even found an iron and ironing board in the closet. Very useful when you are living out of a suitcase. The staff was courteous and very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends. Great value for money!

This is a former apartment block close to Ottawa centre which has yielded very spacious rooms for the price paid (£72 a night).

The staff were very courteous and very accommodating when I asked for a high room. This afforded good views over the City from the 10th floor and I found the whole experience very relaxing.

The rooms look a little tired but they really are very big, with a separate lounge, kitchen, breakfast area and bedroom.

The only negative was the noise from the building air con which could not be switched off. However, I was sufficiently tired not to have it disturb me!

Similar to our Embassy Suites in Syracuse, only not as nice. We had one queen bed, tiny kitchen, TV, desk and TWO closets. The hotel was within walking distance to downtown Ottawa and the Rideau Canal, staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, but dated. There was only one chair and a desk chair, but a table with two chairs to eat at. The desk chair was VERY comfortable to sit in, the chair to watch TV was not. The small patio was gross. The two plastic chairs and small table were filthy - we could not sit out there and enjoy the summer evening. On the whole, the room served it's purpose. The next time I visit Ottawa (and I would love to), I would like to stay closer to Byward Market as there are so many places to choose to eat and I loved the outdoor markets.

Big old room with kitchen and free wi-fi but the room itself needs revamp. Bed are comfortable but they need to change pillows with new ones because some stinks. Bedding needs update too. Limited undercover parking and it cost $12 per day. Front desk are very helpful and friendly. Few minutes walk away from the market and parliament. Overall good for just an overnight accommodation but I don't think I can stay there more than that.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 days to explore Ottawa. The location of the hotel meant we were about a 10 minute walk from Ottawa Markets and Parliament.

The room was very large and clean and I think they try to cater to long stays as they are serviced apartments rather than a hotel room. The staff were friendly, the room was serviced daily and we didn't try the restaurants available. However, like others have said the rooms could probably do with an interior upgrade.

When we booked internet was included so I don't know if that is standard or was packaged with our booking so I don't know how much it costs but it is also locked to one device so make sure you pick the right one before connection.

We were after something with a reasonable price, clean and close to attractions which is what we got.
