I was there for a special event and everything was immaculately done, food fabulous, decor amazing, and the tour of the building spectacular with all the original paintings on the walls.

A truly special, once in a lifetime, kind of experience.

We were not expecting to be able to tour the actual building, so when we found out we could go inside we were quite happy! It was a partially guided tour, and of course, certain parts of the residence are off limits to the public, but what we did see was lovely. The grounds are massive, with lots of trees and picnic areas. I would have expected more flower beds. It is wonderful that the present Governor General has made the facility more accessible to the public.

Beauty & nature abounds. Too bad the public can't see the greenhouses & back gardens. The Royal Portraits are amazing.

It is only natural that Rideau Hall is home to the Queen's representative, our Governor General. The grounds and buildings are wonderful and all free to visitors and locals alike. Take time to stroll through the trees, the rose garden and a tour of Rideau Hall.
It is time well spent.

I like to go every couple of months to walk the grounds. But not as many flowers as there should be. Lots of trees planted by visitors so nice to see who planted what when. In summer you can get tours of the residence and after 3pm you can do your own tour
