“Great Little Spot!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

Stumbled upon this small breakfast/lunch place near our hotel. The food is amazing. Good selection of fresh, tasty scones, fresh fruit, and several breakfast/lunch dishes. Enjoyed a cranberrry-orange scone with raspberry jam and a good cup of java!

“Good concept but...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

It's only open for breakfast/lunch, but I would have expected that this type of place would serve better coffee selections. They serve coffee that basically has been sitting in a hot thermal jug. If I want that, I can go to Mac's or Esso gas station. The sandwiches are fine, but all it is is a scone. I can list better cafes in the area to go to for something similar, with decent coffee.

“Here's a "must stop" spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

The Scone Witch was walking distance from our hotel and we had passed by several times and the window was always full of people.
Our curiosity had the best of us and once we ate here, we kept coming back.
The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and if there are no tables - you can get your scones to go (which we did for our trip home)
They make the best scones I've had and it's a nice change from the "typical hot spot coffee shops".
I wish there were more of these places in Ontario.

“Tasty scones”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

We tried this little restaurant for lunch for the first time recently. The scones were delicious and served in a variety of imaginative ways. The three of us all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is tiny, but we managed to find a spot even though it was quite busy. Perhaps arriving at 12:45 made it easier to get a table. Ordering is done at the back where the menu is posted on the wall. You are given a number to affix on your table so the server can bring you your order. Service was good for us, actually pretty quick and the prices can't be beat. Our overall experience was very good, although our preference for next time would be to take out as there aren't many tables or space available.

“Great food, poor service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 29, 2013

Similar to other reviews, the food is fantastic, but the service was sub par. It was our first time there, and we were made to feel like we were a hassle for not knowing how/where to order. Unlike other reviews, I think the decor is funky and full of charm.
