We were staying there for three nights while participating in a major sporting event in the area. From the moment we booked online to the moment we arrived we were treated with amazing service and accomidation. All of our needs were met with a smile and great patience.
The rooms and facilities were perfectly satisfactory for our needs and we wouldn't hesitate to return or recomend this hotel. Great pool by the way!

We stayed there overnight for our girls baseball provincials. The check-in was smooth, but I should have known i might be questionable when the lady at the check-in counter finished the ritual by telling me that if anything is wrong, just call 0, and they would fix it up.

Anyways, the rooms are large, but the ones we stayed in had a bad odour in them. It smelled like someone was always smoking in that room. We reserved a block of rooms for the team and they should have all been non-smoking. The room next to us was the same way. After dosing it full of perfume and keeping the balcony and room doors open most of the evening it was decent to go to sleep... until the morning that is.. :)

The breakfast was good, the cooks came in especially for us and opened up the kitchen early so we could eat and be on the diamond on time for the game. This was much appreciated, and the only reason I gave it a 3 instead of a 1.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with no smoke smell in it !!!

We did not expect to need to stay overnight in Oshawa, but our kids' baseball team surprised and made it to the semi-finals on Sunday. Knowing kids love pools, and seeing both indoor and outdoor pools at the Quality, with the price being right ($110 for standard double) we booked online. Check-in was smooth and friendly (and early), room was clean and beds comfy. Pools, hot tub and sauna were great. The hotel is conveniently located, right off the highway. For a quick stay or stop-over, it completely fit the bill.

I booked in to the Quality Inn, in Oshawa, Ontario for 1 night (06 Jul 13). I took the Senior Rate at $99.00/night for a Saturday night.

This hotel used to be the Holiday Inn when I was last there, growing up in the early 70's. It is showing its age, but then, so am I...

I arrived about 4:30 p.m. and the check-in was a breeze. My reservation, (via the internet) was what I have come to expect...NO PROBLEMS. Fresh apples were at the front desk for the asking. I was in the tower complex, which afforded room key access to the elevator above the 2nd floor...nice idea.

The room had a king size bed and a couch. Everything was quite comfortable. The HVAC system took a bit to get the right temperature, but it took out the stuffiness of the room very quickly while I had dinner in the restaurant.

The Sat meal was a buffet and was nothing to write home about, but it did fill the hole. Beef ribs and potatoes, salad and dessert...great coffee. A beer before hand started things off well. The bar tender was pleasant to talk to, as was a gentleman visiting from West Virginia via MAINE.

All in all, this spot was at the end of town that I wanted, the location was ideal and very easy to get to off Highway 401. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and patio.

GOOD QUALITY at a reasonable price with friendly staff.

The hotel is located near the 401 which is convenient, but the rooms are run down and need updating. The rooms could have been a cleaner. The hotel has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool, which is lovely in the summer, but paint is chipping in the indoor room. The wall paper was ripped off and peeling outside of our room. Our sink had stains fixed with white out. Our bed squeaked if you breathed too heavily and every time you moved. Breakfast was offered to us on Priceline with our deal, but they would not honour that, as they said it was a mistake that should have been removed. But they offered the person after me four free breakfast. I would not recommend this outdated motel to anyone. It was rated a 3 star, but it is not much more than a 2 star. We think there might be some nicer rooms somewhere, but certainly not where we were put. I could not wait to leave.

Room Tip: Ask if there are any updated rooms.

My room was clean but nothing really special. Breakfast was good and the service was also good. I did not get a chance to try the pool or the bar but both looked decent. If you get a good price stay here you shouldn't be disappointed.
