Owner description: Provincial Park - we are near by and natural. Located between Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Great place to test our your camping skills or equipment. 145 electric service sites, filling and dumping station, laundry equipment, playgrounds, yurts, programs (summer), trails and a leash free area. Campers have access to day-use area (off Burloak) but my drive 6-11km to separate entrance. Day-use area off Burloak Drive has been a family favorite for decades. 13 km of trails, 11 reservable picnic shelters, children's play barn and farm, 1,8 acre outdoor swimming pool (additional fee), family and group education programs. In the Winter enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Annual events include: Maple Syrup Festival, Springtime on the farm, Ghostwalks, Camper Halloween and Victorian Christmas. Lots of things for families to do including a small on siite farm. The barn is a favoriite as it has lots of places to climb and explore.. The pool is very shallow and cost extra. Places to picnic and fly kites, model airplanes. Enjoy if you go.

“The kids' area is badly in need of a face uplift or MORE.”

A magnificent park with dated facilities. I recently took my grand kids there and did not see anything new or any improvement since the days I was taking my kids there. Disappointing.

“Fun!”
Reviewed August 4, 2013 via mobile

Every year we rent the private Picnic area and have a big family/friend BBQ. We all have a blast and the space you get for the money is huge !

There is a pool, petting zoo for the kids. Nice waking paths etc

We really enjoy it. They have a camping site too!
