Recommended length of visit: 2-3 hours
Owner description: Provincial Park - we are near by and natural. Located between Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Great place to test our your camping skills or equipment. 145 electric service sites, filling and dumping station, laundry equipment, playgrounds, yurts, programs (summer), trails and a leash free area. Campers use 3201 Upper Middle Road W. During stay campers have access to day-use area (off Burloak) but my drive 6-11km to separate entrance. Day-use area off Burloak Drive has been a family favorite for decades. 13 km of trails, 11 reservable picnic shelters, children's play barn and farm, 1,8 acre outdoor swimming pool (additional fee), family and group education programs. In the Winter enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Annual events include: Maple Syrup Festival, Springtime on the farm, Ghostwalks, Camper Halloween and Victorian Christmas. Please refer to official website for details as this information could be stale.

This park would be great if it wasn't so inconvenient. You have to park a mile away and drag all of you things into the pool area and if you forget something and have to go back to you car you risk not getting back in. This is crazy and very hard for families. Also, at the end of the day the pool becomes cloudy and nothing less then gross. Bathrooms are disgusting at the pool. Truly horrible.

Outside of the pool area it is a good place for strolls because of the parks and animal farm for kids to explore.

Also, for the campers out there....just because you camp at this park does not guarantee you entry to the pool and if you aren't there the crack of dawn good luck getting in. You also have to drive from you camp site and get back on the highway to access this area which is ridiculous. Go somewhere else for sure.

Great family value! Came for the Homestead Christmas festival and found an outdoor rink, farms, play areas for the kids and tons of trails and paths to explore. We will be back... With our skates!

Love going here in the summer with family and the wee kiddies.
Lots to do and see. Lots of ground to have a family picnic. Highly recommend it.
