I stayed at the HGI for a business trip but also added a few personal days at the end of my stay. I traveled with my husband and a co-worker. The training wound up taking place at the hotel but before the change was made, the hotel staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with regard to arranging a shuttle for us to take to our training. Each time I left and returned to the hotel, I was greeted by another friendly staff member at the front desk.
We ate at the hotel for dinner but my husband and co-worker were both disappointed in the quality vs. cost. Breakfast was the same--it was good but very pricey. We wound up going to Tim Horton's, located right up the street, for breakfast every day.
My lunches were catered by the hotel and the food was very good.
The rooms were comfortable and modern. The hotel smelled very clean and the cleaning staff did a great job cleaning our room every day--no complaints there!
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and I would recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.More
