Clean, updated decor, cosy seating. I had the shepherds pie and it was excellent on a cold night, real comfort food. My husband had the fish and chips and our friend had the chicken pizza. Everyone was quite satisfied with their meal. Although the prices are a little high for pub fare, it really is gourmet pub fare, so it's worth it. My only complaint is that the live act (singer) was too loud and we couldn't have a conversation with shouting. It was only around 8 pm. Maybe they could start the live act later in the evening when people are just having drinks?
