We tried this restaurant due to the good reviews on this site. It is a small restaurant with very few tables, but does do a lot of take-out. Food is ordered by yourself at the counter then brought to your table and served on china with stainless cutlery. The food was excellent and the owner was very patient with us as we tried to make up our minds about what to order. We tried some new to us dishes and they were delicious. So good that we returned the next day for take-out to take home with us. We found this to be an excellent place to eat great Lebanese food. Everything is make from scratch in house and very fresh.

This restaurant deserves its good ratings. The food was quite good, the platters were huge, big enough to share, for around $13. The hummus was homemade and excellent, the chicken sharma was nicely spiced, although I could live without the pickled raddish that makes the "spicy" version spicy. The donair meat was well executed and the pita fresh. The only negative was a salad that included quite a bit of lettuce that should have been thrown out.

I was thoroughly impressed with this place. There isn't a lot of seating, but if you get there at a decently early time for dinner or lunch, you probably won't have any problems. Reminds me of being back in Toronto, really. We got the dinner for two, and we chose the tabbouleh, roasted potatoes, and baba ganoush as the salad and two sides. It was only $19.99 plus tax, by the way. Excellent value and we left feeling stuffed. Everything was delicious - it all came out at once with a plate of warm pita bread so we got to put everything "together" (I say this loosely, because it can be a little hard to get into your mouth when you pile everything up, but no worries!). Best tabbouleh ever, by the way - super fresh! Not much parking on the main street, but we parked over in the lot at the Discover North Bay museum and walked over there in just two minutes. Staff was very friendly and attentive, as well! They definitely knew what they were doing and were very kind to ask how everything was and said goodnight on our way out. We will be back when we are in the area. :)

We decided to check out this restaurant based on the reviews. Afterwards we heard from several friends about how much they like this restaurant. It's small with seating for maybe 20 people. You place your order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. Counter staff were very friendly and quick. I heard him explaining the different foods to another customer -- very patiently and made suggestions since this was her first visit. Food was nicely spiced and very fresh. We both had the chicken shwarma and would definitely return just for that.

I was staying in North Bay for 5 days so decided to try it. Quaint little place, not a lot of seating, mostly take out, but clean and cool. We had the tabouli...made to order....unreal. Then the combo for 2....chicken shwarma and donair (beef and lamb)...both cooked right and delish. Roasted potatoes and hummus as sides....the potatoes were to die for and the hummus was some of the best I've ever had...everything REALLY fresh. We ate in the restaurant and with a beverage it was about $40. If you're looking for something different and affordable, this is THE place to go. Try their version of baklava too...too tasty.
