Stayed for one night in July. Rooms were clean, staff was very polite and helpful., price was great. Breakfast was exactly what I would have at home, \My only negative comment had to do with the lingering odour of smoke(????) The rooms are starting to show signs of wear and I wonder if the rooms might have been smoking rooms at one time. Otherwise, the price can't be beat, beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and the shower was powerful enought to strip paint off a wall.

I stayed at the Lakeshore Travelodge from June 10-13, 2010 with my husband and mother-in-law while attending a sporting event in the surrounding area. We enjoyed a promotional rate of $76.99/night. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay.

The hotel rooms feature pine furniture, exposed brick walls and tasteful decor. The rooms are clean and neat and all facilities were in good condition (though not necessarily reflective of "modern" tastes and styles). There was a mini-fridge and microwave in our room which helped with preparing lunches, as well as an adequate continental breakfast available on-site at no charge (e.g. toast, cold cereal, muffins, coffee, juice, milk). I also noticed a picnic table and BBQ in the parking lot, which seem to be available for guest use. All staff who I encountered during my visit were efficient, professional and friendly.

The hotel is well-located on what appears to be North Bay's main commercial strip, just a few kilometres from Highway 11 and convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, public parks and other attractions. Note that this a pet-friendly hotel.
