My mother and I recently had lunch on the outdoor patio restaurent at the Peller Winery. We were fortunate that the weather was fantastic and the ambiance was perfect. The setting included views of the vineyard and beautifully kept flower gardens and planters. The outdoor dining tables and chairs were comfortable and the servers (waiter and bus boy) were exceptional. Extremely attentive and offered good suggestions off the menu.

We both started with the soup of the day, roasted red pepper with tomato and basil - it was to die for. We then both had the roasted trout - which was cooked to perfection, well presented and extremely tasty. There were several wine by the glass selections available - all Peller of course :) We were so full we did not partake of dessert.

I will most certainly return to this restaurant for lunch or dinner in the future. The indoor portion of the dining room was very elegant and also had wonderful views of the gardens and the vineyards.

We recently attended the Peller Estates Terroir Trek dinner in the vineyards. We felt that for the tasting menu at $140 per person (includes wine) that the food left was uninspiring and disappointing. The raw oysters served were the smallest I have ever seen and were served very warm. They should be cold. The main course was 2 small pieces of meat on a blob of risotto, which had absolutely no artistic flare. The dessert were tiny (1" wide) sweets reminiscent of what you might get on an airline. The wine pairing were actually quite good. The server that talked about the wines just didn't seem like a wine type of person and his dress code didn't fit this level of dining
Considering the price I would say the food was only mediocre and lacked a chef's artistic presentation. There are definitely better fine dining options in the Niagara, ON area

We had read about this restaurant from Bon Appetit magazine and we were doing a food and wine trip in Niagra on the Lake. We ordered the five course with wine pairing. Since these types of meals cost more they generally are more creative and the chef pays particular attention to the selections and wine pairings. We have eaten these types of dinners alot and had yet to be dissappointed until this meal. First of all the food was not anything special and several of the wines were flat. We questioned the waiter and he said the wines were freshly opened. If you are a foodie then I wouldn't recommend taking the trouble to seek out this restaurant when you have a gem like Stone Road Grille so nearby. The scenery was awesome though and the service was excellent.

We went here for my brother's 40th birthday and all four of us had the five course tasting menu, and three of us had the wine pairings. The service was attentive and patient. Every course was good. I can't say that many were extremely memorable though, and my main complaint would be that three out of four of us were not fully satiated even after five courses. Perhaps Jason Parsons wants us to lose weight like he has? We had skipped lunch in preparation, but ended up going back to our room to eat crackers with smoked oysters afterward...
