“Fabulous location, welcoming hosts, and comfortable rooms”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

After extensive research on the many bed and breakfasts in the area, we chose to stay at the Brockamour Manor for our week long honeymoon. Brockamour has a reputation for being one of the best places to stay in the area, and it is well deserved! Rick and Colleen are absolutely wonderful hosts--they are very well informed about the area, provide many thoughtful touches throughout their bed and breakfast, and have an obvious passion for what they do.

We stayed in the Sir Brock room and it was lovely--very comfortable and quiet. There were other guests there for a couple of nights, and the only time we heard noise was when there were people walking in the attic room above. I am very sensitive to noise, and I had no problems at all. The bathtub and gas fireplace in this room make it a great choice for relaxation.

The breakfasts were really, really fantastic. My husband still comments on how much he misses them almost two months after our trip :). Every day was something different, and everything was fresh. The homemade baked goods and jams/jellies are to die for!

Rick and Colleen went out of their way to make sure all our needs were addressed. There is a small fridge on the second floor for leftovers or snacks as well as 24 hour supplies of tea/coffee, milk, and water downstairs. If we needed directions, recommendations, or extra supplies, either Rick or Colleen helped us right away. Based on their recommendations we changed a couple of our plans and had a better experience for some meals. Whenever we mentioned where we were staying to other business owners/waiters/etc, they always agreed that Brockamour was a great place to stay.

The location of the Brockamour is great too--we walked to the main street several times a day, and it's also an easy walk to the Fort. It's only a couple minutes from the parkway by the river and about 10-15 minutes (via car) to most of the wineries around the town.

We really felt like we were at home at the Brockamour, and Colleen and Rick both made us feel very welcome. We were sad to leave, and we are already planning on when we can return with more of our family. When we do, we will be staying at Brockamour for sure!

Room Tip: The Sir Brock room is large and comfortable. There is extra storage for clothes in the bathroom, an...

Thank you Rick and Colleen for a wonderful B&B experience. Colleen is an excellent chef and Rick did a great job serving and entertaining us. Our stay in Sister Isabella's room was nice. The heated bathroom tile floor and fireplace were very much appreciated after being outside in the cold winter weather. The location was great; close to the shops, wineries, and a short drive to Niagara Falls. Thanks!

Room Tip: All of the rooms were very nice with fireplaces, heated bathroom floors, and sitting areas. The Loft...

Thanks for sharing your experience at Brockamour Manor. We appreciate your review and are glad that you enjoyed your stay. It was nice to hear that you liked the heated tiles in the bathroom floor and the cozy fireplace. Both are so nice to have on cold winter nights! Also, thanks for posting some pictures of Brockamour in it's festive apparel. You can tell it was definitely winter when you were here. We hope that you will come and visit us again the next time you travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Spent 2 nights there and it was one of the most spectacular places I have stayed at. It's a beautiful home with all the comforts you need for a perfect getaway. The sweetest couple - Colleen and Rick - run the place and they so delightful. Best part was the heated tiles in the bathroom, the fireplace in every room and absolute best part is the 4 course breakfast which is probably better than a 5 star brunch place in downtown Toronto. Highly recommend it for a nice couples retreat. I will definitely be going back in the summer as I hear they have a beautiful garden.

We just stayed at the Brockamour Manor and what a beautiful home. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The house is immaculately clean and the surrounding grounds of the house are charming. The rooms are quaint and equipped with a fireplace and tv and ours even had a claw foot tub and shower. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful. The walk to town was manageable and took no more than 10 minutes. We truly enjoyed our stay and the wonderful experience. What a lovely B&B - I'm sure we'll be back.

Room Tip: We stayed in Cousin Amelia's room and it was quaint and charming. Couple that stayed in Lady Sop...

We spent two nights at Brockamour and were really pleased. The owners are professional, helpful, and (unlike other B&B owners we have met) seem to enjoy what they do. The rooms are lovely and spotless. The garden with fountain is serene. We have stayed at 6 properties in Niagar on the Lake and I think this is the very best.

We stayed here for our 33rd anniversary. The hosts were helpful, the room was very comfortable, the breakfast was amazing both mornings, and we were within walking distance of the downtown area and the theaters. All in all a perfect way to spend our anniversary - including a local bottle of wine from Rick and Colleen!

Room Tip: We stayed in Sir Brock's room - we did not get a chance to use the jacuzzi tub - but it looked l...
