Located 10-15 from Niagara on the lake. Pricey for a Saturday night that far from the action. Grounds were nice, buffet is same price for adults and children? What?! Decent food court across the street, grab something there (Tim Horton's too) and enjoy it in the nice garden area.

The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Niagara-On-The-Lake and not in the old town, so you have to travel about 15 minutes by car or a cab will cost $30 to get to the old town. Hotel is right by the highway and a few minutes away from a big shopping mall. Room was big with two queen beds. Did not eat in the hotel just had a drink at the bar. Staff were all very helpful.

We were greeted politely and efficiently. The concierge even followed up with phoning our room in the hotel about some information we inquired about. Most helpful indeed. Our room was exactly what we wanted and was clean. Breakfast in the morning was worth the additional charge as it offered a variety of options.

The good thing about staying in a Hilton is that you get what you expect. Cleanliness, efficiency and helpfulness etc and this hotel did not disappoint us. We were in Niagara for a wedding and this was the hotel recommended by the bride's family. It is located a way out of the town so it is essential to have a car or you will be spending a small fortune on taxis to get around and, apart from the car park, there is nowhere to get even a short walk.

We love staying at this hotel. We have spent four weekends this summer either in NOTL or the Niagara area and the Hilton Garden Inn is now our first choice, over places like the Shaw Club and Prince of Wales. It's a beautiful space at a far more competitive price. The location is accessible off the highway and a short drive to Niagara on the Lake or to local wineries. The rooms are large, modern and clean. Ours had a fridge and microwave which came in handy . We had purchased local wines and beers and it was a hot weekend. There are complementary beverages in the lobby ( coffee, tea, water and snacks too). We haven't eaten there, but the breakfast area/ dinner area lis open and modern also. Beautiful outdoor patio is available. Despite it's proximity to the highway, it's quiet, and the black out blinds are excellent. The pool is small but nice enough for a quick dip after a long day walking through wine country. We are going back again soon!
