If you book on Internet check your confirmation. Breakfast deal not noted so I also printed rate page as proof. Good thing since Lucy, Front Desk Manager, wasn’t going to honour rate until I showed her rate page and noted likely MasterCard would accept this. She told me this hotel is not affiliated with the website! Fortunately restaurant is excellent. Brittany is awesome! Helpful, great sense of humour, just really nice! She found out it was my hubby's birthday and surprised him with a slice of cake. Other restaurant staff also great. Food excellent! Breakfast buffet was great, loved the chef! Long wait for breakfast, but not because the staff aren’t hustling. Management needs to either help out or hire more staff as they are literally run off their feet. But always smiling and helpful. Room - King with Jacuzzi. Very nice relaxing in Jacuzzi. Bed very comfortable. Exceptionally clean. But VERY poor layout. Only way to watch TV is in bed. If TV, desk, easy chair at end of room, you’d have a nice sitting/work/TV area. Put TV on a swing arm and you could move it to also watch in bed or even when in the Jacuzzi.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking conservation area.

While this hotel is located outside of Niagara on the Lake, it was worth the drive for the quality and price. Very friendly staff and well maintained hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Make sure you check out The Pie Plate, located on Niagara Stone Road, Virgil, which is between the hotel and Niagara on the Lake.

The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are nice and whole lobby is beautiful..Restaurant staff should be front desk! restaurant is amazing especially Brittany! the front desk never seemed to be happy, never said hello when we came by, we felt like we bothered them by checking in. We asked them a question for directions and they seemed annoyed. We would go to Brittany at the bar for directions and asking her questions that werent even part of her job so we felt bad but she was amazing! the girls in morning for breakfast were awesome as well. The front desk for morning and night could use a little something..... Very poor! rude, angry, just down right not personable at all! you should switch your workers from the restaurant to the front desk.

Very easy access to/from the QEW, staff was friendly and helpful, easy 15 minute ride past hayfields and through vineyards to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Parking spaces are wide, well lined and close to the front entrance, property is well lit, handicap spaces are also well marked. Free WiFi throughout the building, my room was clean with microwave, flat screen tv showing both US and Canadian channels, fridge had racks on the door for 341ml cans. Complementary coffee/tea in the lobby got the day off to a nice start, I did not use the pool or gym on my one night there.

Room Tip: Ask for an even numbered room, they face a protected wooded nature tract that provides quiet surroun...

All amenities provided inside the guest room were really nice. We especially loved the ample space and the view outside the window. Bed was a king size and was just really comfy and relaxing. Room and bathroom were very clean and spacious.

Great location! Ten minutes to Shaw Festival and center of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Fifteen minutes to The Falls and only a few minutes to the wine route! Beautiful hotel with kind and helpful staff. Hotel restaurant was creative and reasonably priced. Lobby was inviting and felt like home. Pool was a little small but in great condition. Parking was easy and only a brief walk to the lobby. Easy access to QEW and Niagara Parkway.

Like almost every Hilton Garden Inn, the accommodations were the standard fare and, again like every other GI, it was located away from everything touristy, but right on the highway.

Two things to note:
1. It's at least 15 minutes to the real Niagara-on-the-lake by car. It's also about 15 minutes to the Falls.
2. Breakfast is not included. I booked a "bed and breakfast" special via hilton.com and so breakfast was included because, unlike Hilton GIs in the States, none seem to include breakfast in Canada (or at least not where I was looking). So, be warned, if you're used to the breakfast being included, it's not

Otherwise, the indoor pool was fine--the kids liked it. The room was fine. The access to other areas was fine.
