Thanks Don and Kathy for a lovely weekend in NOTL. Great rooms, food, location and accommodating hosts. I would definitely recommend Victoria Gables to anyone looking for a positive experience in this area. Wine tasting tickets much appreciated. KV

We stayed three nights at this very nice B&B, and everything was perfect. It was clean, well run, and nicely appointed. Its location on quiet Victoria St. put it a few blocks from Queen St., where all the shops and theaters are located. In addition to the friendly hosts, and good food, there is a private garden in the back for the pleasure of the guests. We could not have been more pleased with our experience, and I am sure we will stay there again on our next trip.

My husband and I stayed at Victoria Gables to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. Don and Kathy and truly amazing hosts! From the minute we came in, they greeted us and showed us our room. The rooms are breath-taking! We stayed in the Tulipa room one night and the Magnolia room another night. Their dog Hudson is also very friendly. They provided us with coupons to local stores nearby and offered suggestions for restaurants to visit for dinner. We also booked a wine tour through them called The Grape Escape which was really fun! Their house is absolutely lovely!! It is very calm, soothing, relaxing, just overall a nice zen feeling! Don even offered to give us a ride to the restaurant both nights! And the breakfasts are truly AMAZING! Make sure you bring an appetite, because you will need it! Kathy makes homemade muffins that is at the breakfast table. They served a nice fruit appetizer, and then serve the main meal- first day it was eggs with fresh herbs and cheese, with potato home fries, the next day was Belgian waffles with scrambled eggs. And of course, coffee, tea, orange juice, and bread. My and my husband were absolutely stuffed!! The breakfast was so good! Also upstairs where all the rooms are is a nice little butler's kitchen. It is equipped with a Tassimo machine (with coffee and tea discs), fresh homemade cookies and muffins (for late night snacking), cups, plates, napkins, water bottles, milk, and sugar.

This place truly is a gem! We are definitely staying here again when we stay at Niagara-On-The-Lake!!! Also, it is only a 10 minute walk to Queen St. So you are away from the hustle bustle, but it is only a short walk away.

Room Tip: Magnolia room is the biggest room with a fireplace and Jacuzzi and a nice view of the outdoor garden...

Don and Kathy are amazing and our room request was accepted last minute! The room, location, information, food, property and the unforgettable "Hudson" are memorable. We will be back and have already recommended this location to many friends.

Last point - the bed was amazing and cured all my back problems from the previous 4 days of a hide-a-bed sleep...... nothing more to say but EXCELLENT!

Room Tip: All rooms are superb - not one poor location!

I agree with all previous reviews and can't really add much except to say they made my first time visit to NOTL most memorable. I am also abit sorry to write this as more and more people will discover this gem and make it harder to book for me! Felt so comfortable and looked after and everything about their house was perfect. Hudson made it complete and such a big baby! So sorry to leave. This prairie girl will be back and would never dream of staying anywhere other than here!

Kathy and Don were amazing hosts. They were available when needed for guidance, but they left you with plenty of privacy in spite of you being in their home. The food was gourmet, healthy, and delicious! They provided us with coupons for the wine tastings which was great. They really seemed to enjoy what they do and were grateful for their guests' company. Thanks you two! We will certainly be back and will bring friends and family!

I'd love to keep this place a secret so I'll be sure to get in on our next visit but that would be pretty selfish. We saw all the rooms and you can't go wrong with any of them. Spotlessly clean, beautiful linens, wonderful gourmet breakfasts that are delicious. Nice living room for guests and a large screen TV in a large lower level room if the one in your room is not large enough for you. Off street parking in a lovely walking neighborhood just a few blocks from Queen Street.
We toured some of the wineries and Kathy had tasting coupons and recommendations.
Although this is quite far from home, we plan to go back next fall again and bring some friends along.
