First of all the room was breath taking! It must have been professionally designed and was perfectly spotless! The fireplace was beautiful and the en-suite was spacious and luxurious. Plenty of parking and we had our own code to come and go as we pleased. There was a water cooler outside our door with crisp cold spring water and glasses. Our host Dana was really knowledgeable about the area and very friendly and kind.

The absolute best part about our stay was breakfast. Dana made everything from scratch and catered towards my boyfriends gluten allergy. She made me homemade biscuits, breads and with homemade jam! She made my boyfriend gluten free bread and gluten free carrot muffins and they were amazing!! Plus there was a beautiful selection of good quality meats and cheeses. The table was fit for a king and we felt like royalty!

We highly recommend this B&B, and will definitely stay here again!

P.S. I didn't even want to write this review, because I want to keep this place our little secret, it's that good!!!! :-)

(Please excuse this long-winded review. We just wanted to share the details of our wonderful experience)

We travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake regularly and live close enough that we've never considered staying at a B&B before. However, this was as special occasion, so we decided to find accommodations for a night - we're so glad that we did.

This gem is located just off the beaten path in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. Our first impression was that it's on such a gorgeously maintained property. We were pleasantly greeted by our hostess, Dana. A quick tour of the home showed that the inside was just as well maintained as the outside. The house is clean and brightly lit with natural light and high ceilings.

She showed us to our room on the 2nd floor. We were the only guests booked in for the weekend. We booked the Vintage Room - Queen En suite. The decor is cozy and gives you a sense of being "at home". Our room was perfect for 2 people: equipped with a queen-sized bed, a spacious en suite with standing shower, a gas fireplace, a small, flat-screen TV with DVD player, and two large windows facing east that let in the warm morning light. No detail for comfort was overlooked - even with the small dish of candies on top of the dresser. In the hallway, there was a water cooler, a small refrigerator, glasses/wine glasses and a small collection of DVDs available for use.

Since we had plans for the evening, we didn't get a chance to speak with Dana much until the next morning at breakfast. The previous reviews do not exaggerate when they say that Dana makes an exquisite breakfast. When we opened the door to our room, the first thing that hits you is the aromatic smell coming from the kitchen as if you just walked into a bakery. We wish we had a picture to share with everyone just how delicious everything looked and tasted. Just to highlight a few items, we had granola and yogurt with mixed berries, homemade scones, homemade apple strudels, homemade peach jam, and the list goes on! We kid you not when we say that even a nice hotel would have trouble keeping up with Dana's breakfast!

We had the chance to chat with Dana during breakfast. She is very personable and easy to talk to. You can tell that she enjoys what she does. She told us how she tries to go to as many restaurants in town as she can so that she can give recommendations to her guests as well as for wineries and other activities in the area. She even has vouchers for some winery tours and tastings, so if you plan on visiting a winery, be sure to check with Dana first.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of a B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We would not hesitate at all to recommend In Elegance to friends, family and anyone else who is reading this review. We will most certainly return to In Elegance in upcoming years.

It was the first time for my husband and I in Niagara-on-the-Lake, let alone staying in a B&B....and both were beyond our expectation. In Elegence was a beautiful and comforting place to enjoy our weekend getaway. They made us feel welcomed and helped decide and organize our days in Niagara-on-the-Lake. But....you need to know that the breakfast was amazing everyday!! I have already recommended In Elegence to friends and family.

My 88-year old mother and I travelled to Niagara on the Lake for three nights and stayed at In Elegance B&B, which was superb! We each had our own spacious, cozy room, complete with fireplaces. The beds were very comfy, the amenities in the rooms appropriate and plentiful and the breakfasts were magnificently delicious! Our host, Dana, was very friendly and helpful and served up her wonderful breakfasts with a smile. Each morning we woke to scrumptious aromas coming from the kitchen. Everything was homemade, from the granola and yogurt to the herb scones and rice pudding to the quiche and apple strudel...and that is only a sample of all the goodies Dana created! Her home is beautiful and so easy to find. We saw An Ideal Husband at the Shaw Festival, which was also amazing....beautiful theatre and the actors were first-class. With the Autumn leaves in their glory, flowers were still abundant in the pretty town. We had a fabulous time!! Thank you Dana for your part in this! We will definitely return!

We just completed a stay at In Elegance B n B in NOTL for a second annual wine tour with friends and what a fabulous trip it was. In Elegance was a comfort away from home and a wonderful place to stay. The hospitality of Dana and Vitold was outstanding. Not only were the accomodations and meals fantastic, they went well beyond themselves and made reservations for our other friends at another local B n B and dinner reservations for our evening. I would highly recommend their B n B to anyone attending the NOTL area. Dana and Vitold made the experience that we had the displeasure of having staying at another local B n B the year prior for gettable. We would return to their place any time and plan on for our next trip to wine country next year.

The owner is a wonderful person and she keeps a clean & comfortable B&B where a person can relax in one's room or in the tastefully decorated living room or in the large kitchen. The breakfasts however, are out of this world. Dana goes the extra distance to make original and nutritious, multi-course hot breakfasts for her guests every day, never reapeating herself but always hunting for new recipes. To say this is service with a smile would be an understatement: 'In Elegance' is simply the best bed and breakfast I've ever been to. Bravo Dana!!

We travel to the Shaw Festival annually, and, when our theatre and hotel dates match, we normally book the better hotels. When this fails, we seek out the better B&B's. In September 2010, we booked our stay at "In Elegance" and found, to our delight, it surpassed even our better hotels and is the best place we have ever stayed, to date. It far exceeds the better hotels for every comfort you might imagine. "In Elegance" is situated in a quiet neighbourhood just minutes from the heart of the town, with free parking. The Regal Room ensuite, which we reserved, was perfect, the decor delightful and the facilities excellent. Our hostess, Dana, was friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was fit for a king, offering the most delicious spread you could imagine. We have found our destination for all future trips to the Shaw.
