My husband & I decided to sit at the bar even though there were tables available. It's always more interesting and fun because you get to meet people. This time it was two ladies who had just opened up a new bed & breakfast called the Chalet B & B at 982 Line 6 Road and they invited us to come and see it when we had a chance.

I ordered the Beer Braised Steak, Mushroom & Oast House Barn Raiser Pale Ale Pie - cremini mushrooms, sauteed vegetables in puff pastry for $15.99. Is it ever delicious and I highly recommend it. The B & B ladies tried it and agreed.

My husband decided to try their Garrison Brisket Burger with JT red wine onions, double-smoked bacon, aged cheddar with beer mustard and tavern chips, $14.99. Unfortunately it was just average compared to burgers we've tried at other eateries in the area.

However they have other interesting items on their menu which we will try next time or just go back for that incredible Beer Braised Steak Pie! This restaurant-tavern is a good alternative to other more expensive restaurants in the area.

Found this place off of a reference from the Oast Brewery FB page. We arrived on a very pleasant Saturday, and elected to sit outside ( screened porch). Menu was great, we had a excellent brisket burger and a salad. Tried a few terrific local beers, staff was very well informed and helpful. Service was friendly, attentive, and engaged. Fresh local side salad was good, as we watched the chef harvest some herbs from the garden adjacent to the patio. We were intrigued by the dessert menu, but elected to press on with our brewery visit and then on to downtown NIagara on the Lake. A great find, we want to return with friends for dinner!

This was a pleasant surprise: we landed on this restaurant after doing a tripadvisor search and learning that a lot of restaurants in the center of town were close on Monday nights. Food was fresh and nicely prepared, with local veggies. Prices were very reasonable relative to other options in the area. Service was very pleasant. Highly recommend for people visiting the area.

Price was Ok, less than $20 for the burgers, but nothing great. The patio was nice. Our server gave us great suggestions on wineries to try n our way home.

...which is rare, especially since the portions are quite large. The pork special was delicious though the salmon could have used 30s less cooking time. Overall, a bit heavy-handed on the salt. Veggies were done just right with a good amount of crispness in the beans to convey a fresh flavor. The kids' chicken fingers were "just like the ones you make, mom" and the grilled cheese was a hit. Fries were good. There is a good selection of beer on tap. Prices are pretty reasonable. Service could have been a bit friendlier.
