If perfection can be described, the HHH is the epitome of the word perfection. Every nuance was attended to; every whim a personal obligation for every employee. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in NOTH than the number one rated hotel. Thanks to all for a very memorable experience. We have stayed in many hotels - in and out of the US, Canada and Great Britain -- the Harbor House without a doubt is the finest! We'll be back for another Shaw Festival experience. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, booking the Whirlwind of Wine package. We had room 304, which was a corner room. This hotel is about as perfect as a hotel can be. Our room was elegant, with a nautical theme and spotless; the bathroom was large and spotless; the bedding was crisp; the owners have thought of every little detail for their guests' comfort -- our whirlpool tub had a book and wine holder, a rubber ducky, and a rubber fish filled with bubble bath! It was perfectly quiet at night, and there was virtually no street noise, and no other guest noise. The air conditioning system worked very well, no noisy fans or compressors, but lovely background "white" noise to help you sleep. The complimentary in-room internet service worked well, and there were bicycles for guest use. The breakfast was delightful, with plenty of fresh fruits, yogurts, pastries, smoked salmon, cheese, hot coffee & tea, juices -- can't imagine what else would be needed to start your day. A bonus for us was one of the servers was from West Virginia (where we're from) and she was so happy to see some "fellow" Mountaineers! The afternoon wine and snack was nice, allowing us to sample local wines, and make the acquaintance of other guests. The hotel is located a short walk to the main part of town, but if you don't wish to walk, they have a van that will take you where you want to go. Our package included dinner and we chose Zee's, which was very lively, lots of outdoor seating, delicious food, and accommodating a vegetarian was not a problem. The wine tour was through International Wine Tours, and their van was clean and nicely air conditioned, and the driver was friendly and informative. The van accommodated 4 couples, and we visited 4 wineries. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I'm sure would do just about anything a guest would ask of them. If there was anything we could suggest to the establishment for improvement would be to add more guest seating in the Library, as there really wasn't enough places for guests to sit and sip wine and converse. We hope to visit NOTL again, and if we do, we will absolutely stay at the Harbour Hotel. It is a truly lovely and elegant small inn type hotel. Your stay here will not be a disappointment!

I celebrated my birthday with my husband at this beautiful boutique hotel and what a birthday it was. The hotel is wonderful however without the phenominal staff they have it would just be another beautiful hotel!!!! From the time the reservations were made to the time we left this hotel we felt like we were the most important people there.
Thank you to Mary for being able to juggle our reservation change and for her outgoing and cheerful personality. Joseph for his bigger than life personality ,and to the rest of the staff and manager Ryan for making us feel so special. This was the first time here but will not be the last.
Thank you for making my special birthday even more special!!

We chose the Harbour House hotel based on the reviews from Trip Adviser. When we checked in, we were sure we had received an upgraded room, as it was so spacious and included a fireplace, tub, & separate shower stall. However, this was their standard room. It was extremely clean, well kept and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The free cookies upon arrival were a nice touch, as was the afternoon wine and cheese tasting (also free). The breakfast was included, however, for the price, it would have been nice to have a few hot selections (ie. bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, etc.). They did have a quiche-like entre the first morning, but the breakfast had too many sweet items for our tastes. The breakfast room was a bit dark, with only windows on one side overlooking a not-so-nice patio (basically the smoking area!). I don't believe there was a work-out room anywhere and there was no pool or hot tub. Parking is not free. If you are considering this hotel, for the price, it was lacking in amenities as compared to the other high-end hotels in Niagara-on-the Lake, however, this did not prevent the staff from thinking quite highly of themselves! We would probably stay there again in the summer, but for a winter getaway, it is nice to have an indoor pool, hot tub/sauna, spa, and workout room.

We've just returned from fours days at The Harbour House Hotel, from the minute we checked in every aspect of the stay was fabulous. The staff are friendly and helpful and the accommodations very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the Conservatory; great coffee, food, and service. I can’t say enough good things.
The highlights of our stay where; the play Little Foxes, biking to Niagara Falls, and the Whirl Pool Jet Boat Tour.

We recently stayed at the harbour house in Niagara on the lake and it was awesome. We stayed in room 309, which is the honeymoon suite for our 13th anniversary and I would go back in a minute. The town is busy during the day with tourists but still very relaxing, and at night it gets pretty quiet. We went to dinner at Zee's which was part of our package and the food and atmosphere was great. We only went for 2 days but it was nice to get away and relax.

We just returned from a five-day stay at the Harbour House for our 25th weding anniversary. The room was fantastic not to mention the excellent service and attention we had during our stay. The buffet breakfast was very convivial et delicious with a varied choice of food to choose from. At 4:00pm, they had wine and cheese service for the guests which provided an occasion to meet the other guests staying at the hotel.
They also provided transportation to restaurants and theater for the guests of the hotel.

Our stay was enjoyable and we recommand this hotel and we will return at a future date.
