This wonderful B&B is co-hosted by Phyllis - an exceptionally welcoming and friendly woman who made our visit a great experience. (Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Doug.) Our room was very charming and extremely clean. From the complimentary beverages in the refrigerator to the Lindt chocolates carefully placed on a small table, the whole room displayed great attention to detail and consideration for the guests. We enjoyed peaceful evenings relaxing in wicker chairs on the large veranda that looked out to lovely shrubbery. The gourmet breakfasts were excellent and very filling with several courses being served, and it was so nice sitting at the large dining table chatting with new friends about their experiences - a great way to start a day of sightseeing and Shaw Festival plays. Thanks Phyllis for making our stay so memorable.

This was our most recent of numerous stays with Phyllis and Doug at the Weatherpine Inn. Everything about the Inn is top notch: the rooms, the breakfast, the ambiance! The breakfast table is always a delight with shared conversation amoong the guests ... usually an international and generational mix. Phyllis and Doug are the consumate hosts, knowledgeable regarding their town and attractions as well as interested in their guests. The number of returning guests is testimonial to the comfort level of Weatherpine! We were first attracted by the porches and separate entrances. We continue to enjoy the hospitality and excellence of the inn, year by year!

Room Tip: There's not a bad room in the inn!

Lovely Niagara on the Lake and charming Weatherpine Inn. Old Colonial in style, with a veranda and balcony the inn is situated on a quiet residential street a lovely 10 minute walk from the main street. Our room had a large comfy bed, fridge for our own tit bits and table and chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy the quiet of the area. Our hosts Phyllis and Doug were just about the best. We had booked a trip on the Jetboat from the dock in town and knew that we would end up wet through so Phyllis kindly lent us some towels to take with us - and boy did we need them! We stayed 3 nights and the first morning Phyllis and Doug had breakfast with us, gourmet style breakfasts at that, delicious. We ended up chatting for over an hour swopping stories about travels etc. Phyllis gave us some tips about the vineyards in the area and coupons for free tastings, if you only go to one vineyard go to The Ice House, its so different. On our last day Doug sorted us out with a couple of bikes and we took advantage of the bike paths all round the town. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to friends rather than hosts and rest assured if we ever visit NOTL again we would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Phyllis and Doug. Great memories.

We stayed at this beautiful B & B for a long weekend Sept 2012. Great location...we could easily walk to anywhere. Phyllis, the proprietor, was very helpful and an excellent hostess. We visited 7 wineries that weekend and did not have to pay for any tastings, because Phyllis offered us coupons for each of them. She also suggested local restaurants that were perfect. The rooms were VERY clean and the breakfasts were heavenly. I will definitely stay here the next time we visit Niagra on the Lake.

Thank you again Doug and Phyllis for a great time and suggestion for lunch. After 10+ years with you both and 10+ years prior at the same place, that you would come up with something new for lunch. Even in the rain NOTL stills sparkes! All the rooms are comfortable and we'll try again the Forest Room. We really enjoy using the verhanda and drink our wine and do some reading. Every room has its own verhanda, deck and entrance. We feel the best part is Doug and Phyllis, their ever filling breakfasts and thively conversations around the table. We meet the most interesting people from near and far away. You are close to walking distance to the main street and down to the water front. Take a picnic or snack and watch the people and boats go by. It is the perfect area to take lots of pictures. The flowers and architecture compliment one another for interesting pictures. There is plenty of information on anything from your hosts and good suggestions for whatever you want to see or do. Grab a snack and come back and enjoy a glass of wine. Every room has a fridge stocked with water, juice and milk. Or you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee all supplied in the room. Lots of shows to see and a great safe place to be around both during the day or night time. Weatherpine is a one of a kind home and not to be missed on your next visit.

Room Tip: Every room you can hear the clip clop of the horses making it especially romantic in the evening. T...

Niagara on the Lake is a wonderful place for theater goers and also non theater goers. The Shaw Festival is the best.To make your stay even better I would recommend the WeatherPine Inn.We have stayed their many times. Your hosts Phyllis and Doug will do everything they can to make your stay welcoming. Their breakfasts followed by a roundtable chat with other guests makes it very enjoyable. We like being able to access our room without going through the residence. The historic area is a delight. The flowers are spectacular.

We visited the Weatherpine during the Canada Day long weekend. It was our first stay at a B&B, and couldn't have been any better. Phyllis was an excellent host, and the Inn was an extremely comfortable place to stay. Our room was upstairs with a balcony over looking the front lawn, which made for a fantastic spot to sit back and relax. The value is outstanding. I originally intended to book a hotel, but all were booked for the weekend. I expanded my search to the B&B's, and I ended up saving money over the cost of the hotels in town. The Weatherpine is in a fantastic location, nestled away on a quiet street, but still just a 10 minute walk to the downtown core, and a few more minutes to the waterfront. The Weatherpine is without question a location we will return to on our next visit to NOTL.

Room Tip: The Rooms with the private patio are also next to the parking lot (still nice). The best rooms are...
