Description: Step through the doors and back into history! The Olde Angel Inn (Circa 1789 - burned down as a result of the war of 1812 and rebuilt in 1815) is situated in the heart of the historic district. We have 5 cosy, comfortable historic rooms and we are a short stroll to the Main Street and Shaw Festival Theatre; as well as a short drive to many of the local wineries. We offer hearty British Pub fare as well as 24 selections of draught beer on tap and 17 different wines by the glass. Live entertainment is provided on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (Wednesday during peak season). Stop by and visit Canada's prettiest town!

We weren't terribly hungry, but the atmosphere here (not to mention that it was the place on EVERYone's lips when you asked about "pubs") compelled us to make a stop. The food around us looked good -- however our appetites were in search of malt.
This is an ultra-casual venue with a few televisions that don't interfere with the english-style ambiance.
If you're a pub person, you need to come here at LEAST for one pint --- you'll probably stay for another.

Incredible food an atmosphere. Family friendly. We spent lunch there and would have gladly returned for pints and music.

We always seem to end up at the Olde Angel Inn for a meal when we're in the area? Why? Because the atmosphere epitomizes "Pub" to me. Cozy, common tables where you can pick up conversations with others, or private tables just for you. The selection of draught is excellent. Typical pub fare done quite well. Prices are reasonable.

We went to this pub after a day in a conference. We enjoyed the live band (Wednesday thru the weekend). It was a great place to watch a hockey game.

A pleasant pub, and we enjoyed sharing a Greek salad as well as seafood stuffed mushrooms, and a couple of beers.
