Description: Step through the doors and back into history! The Olde Angel Inn (Circa 1789 - burned down as a result of the war of 1812 and rebuilt in 1815) is situated in the heart of the historic district. We have 5 cosy, comfortable historic rooms and we are a short stroll to the Main Street and Shaw Festival Theatre; as well as a short drive to many of the local wineries. We offer hearty British Pub fare as well as 24 selections of draught beer on tap and 17 different wines by the glass. Live entertainment is provided on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (Wednesday during peak season). Stop by and visit Canada's prettiest town!

Found it a little dark, but service & food was good. The burger & fries were very generous & well done. Very nice, old English pub ambiance.

A wonderful old world feel in this pub. Low ceilings, exposed beams, wood work worn smooth with age and a resident ghost give the Olde Angle Inn lots of character. The food was very good, typical Irish pub fare. Everything looked good, it was hard to choose what to order. The service was very good as well, our glasses were never empty. Nice selection of beer, local wine and old scotch.
We were only planning on having a quick dinner, but ended up spending the evening enjoying a very talented local band. Everyone was having a good time, it was a great place to people watch, visit and enjoy an evening!

We were looking for something local in the area. This inn reminds me our pub experience when we visited England last year.

We had, fish and chips (hand cut fries) excellent, large portion
chicken strips and fries
and Sheppard's Pie
Chocolate creme bruele, can't go wrong.

You can order gravy to go with the fries but it is extra, which was not mentioned.

Fast friendly service, food hot and quick to the table. Full bar.

Go you will enjoy.

I've been here a few times and it is good. It's pub food so the menu is typical pub menu, no biggie complaints. One thing tho and it's not a bad thing if you're a big french fry fan but they do pile on the fries. Fair price point and you do leave full. The fish and chips are good, the girlfriend is a big fan of the chicken fingers. The side order of Yorkshire pudding is worth it, a good size with the gravy. For some people, it can be a meal in itself. Shepard's pie is also good with the Yorkshire pudding.
It can get a little cramped depending on what time of day you get there but overall nice place. Staff is great too.

We stopped in for a few drinks and some fish and chips. Its a really old, pretty funky building with a lot of character and charm. The beers were cold, the food was good - We'd go back again.
