Owner description: Colaneri is a new family-owned and operated winery that hand-harvests the finest grapes to produce premium VQA award-winning wines from its surrounding vineyards. Most of the wines are made with the traditional Italian appassimento style of drying grapes, including a large portfolio of red, white and dessert wines. A new series has been introduced, made in the “recioto” style of making dessert wines. The winery is built in the Romanesque style featuring a captivating panoramic view of the vineyard and escarpment atop the St. David’s Bench appellation. The wine tasting bar overlooks the production area, allowing visitors to see the process. We, La famiglia Colaneri, are always on hand to share the experience and the passion that went into the making of our wines and our winery.

Very faux surroundings. The bar person knew her stuff and was a little stingy with the samples. I found their rices to be higher than other wineries for same quality wine. Bought some of their cab franc.

We visited several wineries during our recent weekend in NOTL and enjoyed some really nice wines - but the wines at Colaneri seem to be in a different category altogether.
Mike at the tasting bar was very pleasant and helpful – we told him what we like and the wines he recommended were spot on (this was actually the only winery we visited where we bought every wine we tasted…) Our favourites were the Pinot Grigio and Corposo, a delicious red blend – so much flavour!
This was our final winery stop before heading out of town but next year we plan to stop in earlier so we can enjoy a glass on the patio and take in the lovely view of the vineyards. The setting is gorgeous and the building itself is very grand. Well worth a visit!

This is one of our fav wineries in NOTL. We just love the ambiance of winery which is a little like being in a little town in Tuscany! It truly is unique as far a NOTL wineries go.

The wines are reasonably priced and good value. We especially like their Pinot Grigio and Cab Sauvignon.

The winery is still a work in progress and one of the reasons we like going back year after year is to check out the progress! We are especially looking forward to when the banquet facilities will be completed as it promises to be a perfect wedding setting!

My wife and I visited this winery after visiting many other wineries (of which we didn't leave any review) but we felt it was worth the time to place a review for this one. The overall service was excellent and very personalized. Emphasis was put on the family story and on the wine production process. We tasted a couple of whites and most of their reds. The reds were amazing and left the villa with 20 bottles and an 'amici' fidelity card for further online ordering. The reds were a bit pricey but with the rebate offered by the amici card everything levels itself out. Looking forward to revisiting the villa and possibly eat some wood fire pizza in that cool looking oven that was outside when we were there.

it looks very pretty from the outside but the staff there is ruthless and very mean. they have no customer service, the manager is more like a security guard. They are very unwelcoming, go to other wineries were they actually appreciate you and value you as a customer. so don't get fooled by the aperience skip this winery, unless you like being treated like garbage
