“Terrific stay at Aquabella B&B”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

My husband and I stayed at Aquabella B&B for 2 nights in March 2013 after winning a Niagara-on-the-Lake B&B weekend prize. The last time we stayed at a bed and breakfast was when we were in Europe on our honeymoon, so we were a little bit nervous about staying at one that was only an hour and a half away from home. What would it be like? Would it feel odd to stay in a B&B so close to home? Well, the minute we walked into Faith and David's B&B, we instantly felt welcomed and like we belonged there.

One side of their home is devoted entirely to the B&B and has a separate kitchen, living room and fireplace. The kitchen had a self-serve tea/coffee station which was available 24/7. Since we were the only guests at the time, it was almost like we had our own little house to ourselves. We stayed in the River Room, which had a terrific bed, television, Wi-Fi and a nicely decorated washroom. Added touch: There were fluffy bathrobes for both of us!

We woke up to the wonderful smells of coffee and breakfast each morning and enjoyed spending time with the Bell family while munching on a great homemade, family-style breakfast. They had thoughtfully asked if we had any dietary restrictions before we arrived and they were happy to accommodate my vegetarian diet.

The B&B is in a great location, just a short drive from a number of wineries and Queen St., which has a ton of shops, galleries and restaurants. Above all, the B&B is owned by a warm, friendly couple who will go out of their way to make their guests feel special. I look forward to staying at Aquabella B&B again very soon!

We booked a very last minute trip to relax and get out of the city. Reserved "the Falls" room for 2 nights and was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and decor of our accommodations. It was everything I imagined a bed and breakfast experience to be like. Our hosts Faith and David were extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about Niagara-on-the-Lake & the history of the region. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable and comfortable place to stay. A great alternative to hotels, and definitely a new found way of traveling for me personally. What impressed me the most? I didn't feel like a tourist, but rather a guest visiting in friend's home, and a beautiful one at that. I would recommend staying at AquaBella B&B if you are looking for a high quality B&B experience all around. 5 Stars in my book!

We stayed at the end of the season in October 2012 for 3 nights with friends and had a wonderful time. Our room was the Lakes Room - very comfy and clean. Breakfasts excellent, hosts excellent, and a fire in the front room to warm up in front of when we got soaked walking back from town (and thanks Faith for tumble-drying our jeans!). Would recommend without hesitation.

Room Tip: If you value a shower room/bathroom with a window then go for the Falls Room or the River Room.

My husband and I stayed for three nights at Aquabella B&B. We chose it because it has wood floors and so is friendly to those with bad dust allergies. It was clean, comfortable and in a very pleasant location just a few blocks from the main street of Niagara-on-the-Lake. In addition to the excellent facilities, our hosts, Faith and David, made us very welcome. They listened to our interests and made good suggestions. They gave us our own space, but were also available and engaging. The breakfasts were excellent too.

What can I say? The B&B is just fantastic. Great hosts, great location, wonderful bedrooms and a very cute dog. All is very clean and in perfect conditions, very good atmosphere in the house. When we arrived we got some good tips and information from Fatih and David, they are wonderful. But the hit is the breakfast. Faith prepared her French toast and I never had such a great dish before. Even my partner's sister was totally thrilled - and she's very picky with food :-).
I can highly recommend to stay at AquaBella B&B, I wished more host of B&B's would offer such a perfect service and quality to their guests.

We spent 2 nights in this lovely B&B located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The house has a wonderful set up with guests having use of a full living room/dining/kitchen available to relax and feel at home. The property is away from the hubbub of the downtown but an easy 10 minute walk to get there. For cyclists, access to the bike path is located right at the end of the street & David is only too happy to share and map out a suggested itinery which we loved. The guest rooms are beautifully decorated with a clear attention to detail including purified water, chocolates, flowers at your bedside, lush robes for your use and very comfortable beds. David & Faith are wonderful hosts who are only to happy to offer suggestions about the area in order to make your stay more memorable. The breakfasts were delicious and a wonderful way to start your day! We would definately recommend this B&B! Thank you Faith & David for sharing your home, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return:)

Thank you for your comments, and for being wonderful guests at our home. We are thrilled you enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. To avoid a misunderstanding for future guests, having use of the kitchen does not include cooking.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

True professionals, David and Faith Bell are knowledge, enjoyable, and hospitable hosts. From the amazingly comfortable bed and linens to the fabulous breakfast, this is a B&B you don't want to miss in NOTL. Being natives to the area, Faith and David can answer any of your sightseeing questions. It is truly apparent they enjoy what they do and this isn't just a job to them. I highly recommend AquaBella B&B to anyone.
