“Wonderful B&B choice!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

My friend and I stayed in the Chestnut Room and it was lovely. The room was very spacious with a nice private balcony and included a private entrance to the back yard. We did not have time to take advantage, but there is a nice pool in the beautifully landscaped back yard. A short walk to a hike and bike trail and a short drive or bike ride to the downtown shopping and restaurant area. Owners were very nice and were able to recommend local eateries and wineries to try. The breakfast was excellent as well. Highly recommend for anyone traveling through the area.

Room Tip: The Chestnut Room has a king bed. I believe the other 2 rooms have a queen bed, but check with the...

My niece and I stayed in the Cherry Room at Bruce Manor for two nights and saw two plays at the Shaw Festival. Our room was quite spacious and had two balconies, a fireplace, coffeemaker and was most comfortable! It was a bit chilly for using the pool, but the backyard and pool were both lovely. Breakfasts were wonderful! The hosts are very warm and interesting to talk with. It was my niece's first time in a B&B and she loved it. We easily walked into downtown N-O-T-L. Enjoyed dinners at Zee's and Benchmark (at Niagara College) and would recommend both!

Room Tip: The Cherry Room had king bed and was very spacious. It had been recently redone. We saw the Rattan...

My husband and I stayed at the Bruce Manor last weekend for two nights. We saw three plays at the Shaw Festival, went to a couple wineries, enjoyed walking and biking all over, and had a couple nice meals. Bruce Manor is located about a 20 minute walk from the center of town, and we enjoyed walking back and forth two to three times each day. There are also bikes that you can borrow. We had a nice morning ride on the bike trails and the streets of Niagara on the Lake. The pool and backyard are wonderful. The pool was the perfect temperature - warm but still refreshing. The backyard is very private. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast with juice, baked goods, and a nice entree. The coffee was good and plentiful. Sanath and Nandanee were both very nice and very helpful. Our room, the Cherry room, was quite large with a very comfortable bed and access to both the front and back porches. Everything was spotlessly clean. Sanath was flexible and allowed us to check in early (we were going to be at a play during the normal check in time). We hope to stay there next time we go to Niagara on the Lake.

Last year I had to make accommodations for three couples for one night only. The B&B I found for myself recommended Bruce Manor. They were happy to have 3 couples for one night only (which is a rarity during prime season). I was so jealous when I went to meet them. They were all lounging in and around the pool sharing wine and good times. This year I made it a point to make my reservation with Bruce Manor and I was not disappointed. Host and hostess are extremely friendly and helpful, The home is squeaky clean with good matresses and lovely accommodations and bicycles available for guests use. Breakfast was more than ample with fresh raspberries picked from the garden. It shall be my first choice whenever I head for Niagra-on-the-Lake. Kathy S from Michigan

Room Tip: The Ratan Room has a seating area with big bay windows overlooking the pool and backyard which looks...

My husband and I stayed at Bruce Manor on the Canada Day long weekend and loved it. We stayed in the Rattan room which faces the backyard with the beautiful pool, and gorgeous garden. Sanath and his wife were excellent hosts, and provided a lovely breakfast each morning. The B&B is conveniently located a short stroll from all of the restaurants and shops and is a 1 minute walk to the park where concerts are held.
Our room had direct access to the back balcony with stairs to the back yard.
We will definately stay again.

Room Tip: The Rattan room even has a breakfast nook over looking the back yard, where you can drink wine and w...

We were just passing through Niagara-on-the Lake and had selected Bruce Manor from a B&B list for the area. We were not disappointed. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating, the Cherry room was large and comfortable, the pool and patio area is like an oasis, and the breakfast was excellent. Sanath went out of his way to help us on several occassions, including setting up a Skype with our granddaughter, and also provided bikes for our use. The location is perfect for biking around town and down to the waterfront.
I would not hesitate to return or recommend to others. Hope you get the chance to experience Bruce Manor for yourself!

Room Tip: Stayed in the Cherry Room. Very spacious, comfortable bed, private entrance, balcony

We stayed at Bruce Manor again this year. We received a warm and gracious welcome from Sanath and Nandanee. The Cherry room has become our 'home away from home.' It is spacious (2 balconies), clean, comfortable, and quiet. We strolled into town every day and enjoyed all that Niagara-on-the Lake has to offer. Breakfast was a special treat with great food and conversations. I am counting down the days until we can return!
