We stopped at the Vintages Restaurant in the Pillar and Post Inn for a light meal. They serve a small lunch menu after 2:00PM. We ordered chicken club sandwiches, i.e., chicken breast meat, bacon, lettuce, tomato, aged cheddar, and mayo on a roll for $12. The roll was a soft, supermarket package type roll, the type they serve in a school cafeteria. The chicken was dry, the bacon cold, and the mayo was missing in action. The sandwich was served with a half-cup of tasteless onion broth. I wasn't expecting a gourmet meal for $12, but I have had much better club sandwiches for less in equally as nice dining rooms. Stay away at luch time.
