“Friendly service, casual meal”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Try to get a table on the patio if the weather is nice because the inside is dark. For the thirsty, there are 22 beers on tap and other drinks are generous. The food comes out pretty fast, especially the kids' meals and portions are big. They advertise themselves as having the best fish and chips- the basa was moist while the coating was crisp (though a bit heavy). The grey hunk of lamb shank did not look very appetizing (could have used a glaze or sauce) but was very tender and the accompanying vegetables were on the salty side. They seem to do better with pastas and fish than with meat.

“Fish & Chips”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Stopped by after a long day of sightseeing. Sign on the wall said voted #1 Fish & Chips. Went with that and can't complain. Had a nice crunchy crust and the fries were delicious as well. Cant really comment on the other items on the menu but if you are in the mood for some fish and chips Corks would be a good choice at a fair price.

“Terrible”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

This was honestly my worst meal I've had in a long time. Bad service, management was rude and offered zero customer service. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Don't be deceived by the good location, not worth the wait or money!

“Ok...”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We picked this place our second night at Niagara on the Lake since it always seemed to be busy and lively. Started out by the waitress telling me the only thing on the menu gluten free was a plain salad. I finally insisted she ask the chef since there was grilled salmon, shrimp and steak on the menu. She came back and said the salmon would be ok. Thank goodness I like salmon and it was okay. My husband and daughters all got the fish and chips (advertised as the #1). They all three said they have had better. Food came quickly but felt like they wanted us to move on, never asked if we wanted drink refills, etc. So, was okay, but doubt we would go there again.
