We loved the food and the patio! The fact the deck also has windows which can be shut, helped as the night winds were a little chilly when we were there. But just by shutting a couple of the windows closest to us made all the difference. My salmon was nicely done & the basa had some heat! Great time & great meal.

Stopped by for a quick lunch after exploring the surrounding area. Very busy even though it was mid afternoon. Got an inside table no wait there was a short wait for outside. Food was very good and they had a large selection of local beers and wines. Waiter seemed quite knowledgeable about both and offered suggestions based on taste preferences. He also checked back after drinks were served to make sure everybody liked what they had ordered. Lunch portions were good for a light lunch.

We had dinner on the patio in May. Our server, Nick, was very helpful in selecting a good local red wine (which was very good). We started with their fried calamari, which was delicious and served with a very good sauce with a tad bit of spice. I had the chicken penne, which had good flavour but the sauce was watery. The pasta could also have been served with more vegetables. My girlfriend had the daily special red snapper with rice and vegetables, which was very good.

We were a bit disappointed that there was only one option for dessert (bread pudding), which isn't something we tend to enjoy.

Overall - the food was good but not something to write home about. The service was very good, and the atmosphere on the patio was great for a relaxing dinner after touring wineries all day.

Stopped in here on a busy Saturday night. Very popular. Live midi. On the night we were there. Didn't dine but wine prices about $7 a glass. Lots of diners though. If you want a night out for drinks and entertainment I personally prefer the Olde Angel Inn. More historic feel and more of an historic tavern feel.

Place looks quaint from the outside, but the food leaves much to be desired. Ordered a cheeseburger and pasta dish, both were severely over-cooked. Pasta was mushy and the burger VERY dry. Apparently, Canada requires all ground beef to be prepared "well done." I specifically asked the server if that meant my burger would be dry, was assured the burger would be moist...wrong. Complete waste of money, but at least the town's charm makes up for the mediocre food. Staff is friendly enough, but I don't think they strive to go beyond average since most people are from out of the area and won't be back anytime soon.
