Room exceeded every expectation for suite with fireplace, large bath with Jacuzzi. VG linens and bathrobes On site hihh quality dining and comforfable bar. Comfortable and inviting outside areas for short walks. Only issue, too far for walking to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Challenging for bicycling due to road traffic.j

We just got married in July and we already have our trip to Jamaica booked in September so my husband thought, somewhere nice and near to spend weekend together would be great. He and his company had their company conference earlier that year in the same place and he told me it was a great place. So, middle of August, we booked for 2 and booked for spa/massage as well.

The room was absolutely beutiful, king size bed, very clean icluding the bathroom.

The restaurant, food was superb and the music lounge was great as well.

The spa/massage, since we booked as a couple massage, the room was huge and beautiful. Then, the 2 RMT came and introduced themselves, both very nice but unfortunately, I wasn't impressed at all by the massage. I asked for a deep tissue massage not a swedish relaxation massage and even after I asked if she was doing a deep tissue and she answered yes, it wasn't definitely the right massage that I asked and paid for. We still left them both their tips even if we weren't happy about the massage but we hope that since that resort is advertised as a SPA/ massage resort, they should have good RMT.

I have massage every month by a RMT and so I know the differences of a good, not so good and the best RMT. Nevertheless, aside from the massage, we still recommend the resort to be a great place to spend a weekend.

Room Tip: Our room was superb! South side

My husband and I stayed here for the first time on a Friday in August 2012, along with two of our friends. We choose a tower room with two queen beds. We are in our early 30's. Everyone was impressed with how fancy everything was and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comforable hotel bed we've ever tried and the room was so quiet we all slept in to 9am without hearing any of the neighbours. Some extra touches included a little TV screen by the vanity and tub and a nice make up mirror, fluffy robes for everyone, and the mini fridge was fully stocked with treats and alcohol that you would be charged for if you took one. We enjoyed the lunch at the Play restaurant. We tried the pool and hot tub at 9 pm when we came back from dinner and had a fun time with the area to ourselves. I had been having trouble finding a place in the area to book that wasn't over $300 during this peak season, and we felt we got good value for the price we paid here (~$170). The breakfast buffet isn't cheap but the selection is huge and we all enjoyed it. My husband and I plan to be back just the two of us for a special occasion!

Room Tip: The tower rooms are quiet and luxurious!

The hotel is located about 20 minutes drive from the main small town of Niagara on the lake and positioned between some main roads. As far as I could tell would need to drive to get to any close by eating places.
The lobby of the hotel I found amazing - very modern and inviting and beautifully decorated. All staff extremely welcoming and friendly and helpful.
There was a lovely relaxing garden to sit out in if it hasn't been reserved for a function. The pool was a decent size as was the whirlpool. There was a small change area, but this was a walk past the lobby to the pool area, so take your dressing gown to get to and from the pool / spa side.
Taxes include car parking and spa facilities.
Nice friendly bar area which had a good atmosphere and good place to eat, and although a little on the pricey side for us, the quality was good and there was a good quantity served up too.

Our stay at the White Oaks Resort was most enjoyable. Despite the facility being busy with several weddings on site, all staff were accomadating to our needs. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Had the pleasure of dining at the LIV restaurant and it was the best fine dining experience ever. Accommodations were exceptionally clean and relaxing. Most definitely would go back.

Our family stayed at the White Oaks over the last weekend of August to attend a family wedding in the Niagara area. I'm very picky about my accommodations, and this hotel didn't disappoint. Rooms were very generous in size and very clean. Beds were so comfy. We didn't have the opportunity to use the Spa or pool, but we did enjoy the buffet breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. Would stay again, perhaps for a weekend get-a-way!

My family (2 adults, 2 kids, 11 and 7) stayed at this hotel this summer for our annual trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto. This place has it all. From the friendly staff to the plush accommodations - we upgraded to the Tower and it was worth the extra cost since we were all staying in the one room (2 queen beds), this place is better than staying near the Falls. The restaurants were great and it was nice having a kids menu for them to choose from. My son especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast where he could choose from an assortment of breakfasts delights. The kids also enjoy the pool and spa - great way to burn off some energy from a day at the Falls and MarineLand. We love this place so much that we will never stay anywhere else when visiting the Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake.
