We loved our short stay at Queen's Landing this past Tues., Aug, 7. We were especially pleased and delighted with our server, Jill, of the Tiara Restaurant in the hotel. She was the best! We hope to come back soon for another visit. We live in the Cleveland, Oh area and always enjoy a road trip to Niagara on the Lake, ON.

This is an impressive looking hotel in the gorgeous town of Niagara on the Lake. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food at the breakfast buffet and in the less formal dining room was of a high quality and served with a smile. For example the breakfast waiter remembered my son had a hot chocolate drink and asked if we had enjoyed our visit to the falls the day before.

Our room and bathroom were good, with the added lovely touch of a fresh rose on the bed each evening. The air conditioning was a bit loud which was a shame. The indoor pool area was great, but the hotel would benefit from a few more sun beds on the small terrace outside.

Niagara on the Lake itself is a delight: great shops, some excellent places to eat and a lovely lake front feel. Much, much, much better to stay here than in Niagara Falls itself, which as a town is brash andf ugly. (Niagara Falls, as in the waterfall, is remarkable, and I've reviewed that separately)

You are absolutely right - Niagara-on-the-Lake is quite different from Niagara Falls and we pride ourselves on providing a tranquil escape for our guests. We often welcome the same guests back at different times of the year so they can experience the different seasons.

We arranged a family reunion in Niagara-on-the-Lake with 22 family members staying at the Queen's Landing for our mother's 80th birthday celebration. We learned about the hotel through Club Intrawest Extraordinary Escapes, and it was a great find. The hotel is lovely, well-appointed, with gracious, professional staff. I had many interactions with the assistant front desk manager, Jim Burke, who helped us arrange High Tea at the sister property, Prince of Wales hotel, transport to Niagara Falls, Shaw Festival theatre tickets and a great casual dinner at Angel Inn. He and his coworkers gave us thorough, careful attention to our needs.
My father is disabled and needed an accessible room. Their room was adequate, if not as well-appointed as American ADA-compliant rooms tend to be. We especially appreciated Frank, the shuttle driver, who took special care of my parents. We even had a medical emergency, during which the front desk staff were especially attentive.
The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake was charming and welcoming. Our visit met all our expectations, and then some.

We had an enjoyable and relaxing weekend at Queen's Landing. The restaurant had a wide variety of items on the menu and the food was good. The place was fully booked, but it is a big enough hotel that there was never a sense of being overcrowded. Due to a late reservation on the long weekend we booked the last room, a suite. The only disappointment was that based on the price of the suite it was surprisingly small. Regardless it was comfortable and well maintained. Queens Landing is well located, close th the town's main street, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds of tourists and parking.

The hotel was located just off the business of the main street and accessible for someone with mobility issues. The registration process was efficient and all the hotel staff were very friendly with their interactions with patrons. Our room was upgraded without asking. The decor was very charming and made my mom feel very special. Pool, hot tub and gym areas were clean. Parking was free. Charge for wi-Fi.
