We travel to Canada several times per year. One year we encountered this place just driving and walking around the area and just had to go inside as it loooked so inviting. We had lunch overlooking the front and became people watchers very quickly! A lot of activity occurs on the main street it is located on from walkers with children and pets, to traffice just passing by in cars. The food was out of this world and the service was exceptional. Our waiter talked with us each time he served us and it was quite a treat to learn about what he knew regarding the history of the Price of Wales. I highly recommend stopping in for any meal, or just a simple cup of tea.

This place was gorgeous. We stayed in one of their 3rd floor suites, and everything was immaculate. Check-in was painless and the staff was very helpful. Parking was behind the Hotel and very easy to get in and out of. The room was beautiful - probably the largest room we've ever stayed in - and it was tasteful yet not stuffy. I'll go back for sure.

This is a gorgeous building, outside and in. It's also located directly on the main strip of stores, restaurants and theatres, so it could not be more convenient. We stayed here for one of our Shaw weekend getaways, and it really made us feel like we were getting away. the interior of even the lobby area and the lobby hallways is over the top with paintings and tin ceilings and sense of grandeur. Our room was also very traditional. It was very large, with a living room area, and a four poster bed. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, which was quite nice. Breakfast in the restaurant every day was lovely. My husband's only complaint was the the hotel seemed "too" old for him, in terms of decor, and there was indeed a bit of a musty smell that comes with older buildings. But neither of these things bothered me at all, I embrace the sense of character that the hotel brought, and I loved the decor and everything. Also, the location cannot be beat if you are attending the Shaw festival, as the theatres are all just steps away. It is also extremely convenient for shopping and restaurants. I totally recommend this hotel, especially if you love hotels with character.

I have visited the Prince of Wales hotel for a spa treatment and 'afternoon tea' with friends.

I felt special and pampered from the moment we stepped in the lobby and marveled at the flooring and stain glass window and unique furniture! It was like walking back into the time of Downton Abby.
The staff was professional and personable. They made us feel special. The Spa lounge was welcoming and cosy.
Later we were escorted to enjoyed classic tea service is in the sun filled Drawing room with crisp white linen gold rimed china! This was a memorable afternoon of spa pampering and then sharing the relaxation of being catered to with friends and tea. Could not ask for a better day!
Thank you we will keep this spring tradition!

Situated in the most beautiful town steeped in history was this hidden gem. A picture post card Victorian hotel with all modern convenience. Great service, nothing is too much trouble and the food was great.
The bed was one of the best I've slept in, fit for a Princess!

Perfect for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.

We were happily greeted by Katie at the front desk with prompt service and a lovely room, she really goes out of her way to make you feel special .We really enjoyed our time there as usual. We relaxed in the salt water pool in peace and quiet which was well deserved. We had dessert and drinks in the pub in the hotel and it was delicious and atmosphere so cozy.
