Aylesbury Manor is a wonderfully comfortable, cozy and well appointed home that made for a perfect spot for our group of six friends to spend a weekend! The home has everything you can need so it makes for a very easy stay! Lovely cozy beds with beautiful quilts, several comfortable sitting areas, a lovely sunroom... even a pool and back deck (although we were staying just a bit early for pool season)
Angelo and Kerri are amazing people to work with- very accommodating and quick to respond to questions and requests! The home is situated at the corner of Mary Str and Victoria and is a quick few blocks from the main street shopping area. It's close to the Shaw festival, with a lovely bakery and a Tim Horton's just down the street. The house really has everything you might need - including soaps and makeup remover pads in the bathrooms! Because of the age of the home (early 1920's) there are some lovely old features and the decor is welcoming and comfortable. It definitely feels like "home". We can't wait to return! We think we'll make a weekend at Aylesbury Manor an annual event!!!
My girlfriends and I (10 of us) go away a couple of times a year for a girls getaway weekend. We stayed at the Aylesbury Manor this past weekend and were extremely happy with the accommodation. The home was absolutely gorgeous. The bedrooms were so clean and bright. Honestly...the pictures don't do it justice.
The weather was awful so spending time in such a nice home made our getaway sooo much nicer. You are provided with everything that you could possibly need. Just bring your food and move right in! I would highly recommend this place.
This home is an absolute GEM! My husband and I rented the home for our 30th wedding anniversary celebration. We accommodated 8 (10 including ourselves) family members. The home is spacious, open, clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. Updated with current appliances, bathrooms and outdoor pool. There is a nice deck and sunroom with table and chairs which we took advantage of enjoying dinner and long "catching up" conversations. The neighborhood is very well kept and quite! There is a first floor bedroom/bath combination which was perfect for older guests with difficulty on stairs. Sheets, towels, soap and basic paper products were supplied adding ease to our trip from the US. The owners have clear directions/instructions posted on the frig and were available for immediate assistance.
The area is amazingly convenient. A quick 10-15 minute ride on the express to Niagara Falls and US New York Niagara or a leisurely scenic roadway along the river lined with paved trails and many wineries. The historic town of Niagara on the Lake is less than 2 blocks from this home. It is easily walking distance for coffee or dinner. There is a large selection of eateries, local shops and delightful bakery's. People in town are so polite and nice. We all had a wonderful vacation and hope to return for a re-do soon!
Thank you for opening your home up to us and being wonderful hosts in Canada!
