The Shaw Festival is one of the many reasons why people visit our lovely little town of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario. The plays are always excellent and there are so many events to chose from. There is always a good variety of plays from comedies to dramas. The backstage tours are a great way to get acquainted with the various departments needed to create decors, wardrobe, etc. We have attended luncheons with performers followed by a matinee which is a fantastic way to get to know the performers and to learn how hard everyone works to make your visit at the Shaw an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.

First time going to see a play in over 12 years and this was definitely the right choice!

The theatre had tickets called '$30 under 30' where you could get tickets for 30 dollars if you are under 30 years of age. Picked up two of these and caught the play Guys and Dolls.
We had great seats from the balcony and the play was well acted and funny.
Definitely recommend this theatre and play.

We attended the Shaw Festival Theatre for the first time.
Enchanted April was terrific and better than anticipated.
All round great!

While our family of 4 was excited to go to The Shaw for our first time ever; (and to see "Guys And Dolls" no less!), we were destined to have a good time.
But, what I hadn't paid much attention to was the email I received, after having ordering the tickets, which solicited a "backstage tour" which cost a whole $5.00 per person (with ticket to the show); or $10.00pp without.
The two volunteers who took us around to the different areas of the theatre were WONDERFUL! ENTHUSIASTIC! and completely enhanced our Shaw experience. (Wait till you see the costume design room and the mechanics of how they manage to move set pieces for 3 different productions on one stage!). Yes, a few trade secrets may have been revealed, but we'll never tell!
The show itself was amazing. Top triple threat performances by all! What a blast!
And, as we were indulging ourselves, after our matinee show, we treated ourselves to an exquisite dinner across the street at Zee's, where the customer service was exemplary.
Highly recommended.

Saw Guys & Dolls. Excellent production, cast, and performances. A mixed crowd of people so you can come as you are and not feel out of place dressed up or coming straight from the winery.
