I reviewed this place on our first trip to NOTL but when we visited a second time, I wanted to see if it would be consistent. It was! As many other reviewers have posted, it is a great choice for people with gluten intolerance as well as vegetarians.
Yes, it appears some things are heated up for serving but that is to be expected with choices like quiche and Guinness Pie. That aspect did not affect the flavor or experience. We had to wait a little bit for the place to open because there was a rare power outage in the region and all businesses had late starts opening up. However, we could smell the fresh scones in the oven.
Yes, it is pricy but so is everything in NOTL and in most areas of Canada. The costs are comparable to New York City. If you know that "going in" you will not be sticker shocked.
