If you are looking for a superior B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake, look no further than Two Bees. Lori and Al have created a wonderfully warm and inviting B&B with beautifully appointed rooms, fabulous food and all the attention to detail that makes your stay remarkable. We immediately booked for Valentine's weekend next year and can't wait to visit there again.

If you're looking for a uber-charming B&B right off the main-street in Niagara-on-the-Lake, look no further! Al and Laurie have established "Two Bees" as a peaceful oasis for all your "getaway" needs. The location is perfect. It's walking distance from the main-drag and a short drive away from all the wineries. Our room, the Dickenson, had a whirlpool tub and nice sitting chairs. In the hallway outside the rooms there is also a 24/7 coffee/tea/soda/water fridge/keurig setup which was wonderful.

If you're a book/music lover, you'll be delighted by the plethora of books and CDs spread throughout the house and in the rooms. There is a variety of music available, but with a preference for jazz (which I share). The living room space is cozy and has comfortable seating with a nice fire-place.

Breakfast is outstanding: 1) coffee, high quality tea, juices; 2) a fruit and bread starter (we had a great yogurt parfait with granola and loads of fresh fruit; and the BEST peanut butter-chocolate bread!); 3) a main plate with something either savory or sweet and usually some kind of little meat on the side along with some kind of salad (our main one day was a decadent orange maple french toast, and it was an egg/broccoli soufflé another day; they mix it up well).

Al and Laurie, in addition to being very friendly and gracious hosts who make an amazing breakfast, are also very knowledgeable about the local restaurants, attractions, and wineries. If you're looking for recommendations they'll steer you right.

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Dickenson" and it had a shower and single-person whirlpool tub. It also...

We had a great stay at two bees. Lori and Al were excellent hosts, the house was warm and very comfortable and breakfast was awesome! There were no other guests on our night so we had a great visit with Al and Lori over breakfast. Al also went out of his way to drop us off at our dinner reservation on Saturday night.

Their location can't be beat. Steps to the best places in town and also close to the waterfront.

Room Tip: All the rooms looked great. We stayed in the Tennyson Suite which was great! It has a fireplace, hug...

We were looking for the perfect bed &breakfast to spend a girls only night out of town - and we found the best!
It's the perfect location between the lake to the main street, rooms are designed to the last luxurious detail, everything as clean and spotless as our hosts smiling attitude. After a good nights sleep, we had a wonderful breakfast, unusual and most delicious. Was a real pleasure to talk to our host and to get her useful tips for spending the day. Hope to come back soon!

We stayed at the Two Bees in October, so this review is a bit overdue. This B&B is just beautiful. The décor is done so well, all details.

Breakfast was great, but I could have eaten more....anything covered in maple syrup is good. The hosts are very welcoming, would love to go back in the summer time.

We had the luck to spend 3 nights at Two Bees and are already planning when to go back. We live in Virginia so took a nice 2 days to get there and once there had so much to do. Did drive to Niagara Falls but it is a bit touristy for our taste so nice to be back on the Lake and quiet. The inn is a short block from the Main Street and shops and another short walk the other direction to the lake. We happen to enjoy wine so toured many wineries and were happy to discover we could bring lots of bottles back if declared no penalty. Hubby is an engineer so toured the Hydro-electric generating plant and also saw the locks at Welland canal. Were lucky to have a ship coming through so could see how they worked. Breakfasts were excellent. A must visit for all!! Al and Lori are the perfect hosts. Just ask and they make it happen. Rooms are really nice and very comfortable. Can't wait to return.
