Description: As you walk into Niagara’s newest steakhouse, The Meat Market Niagara, you will be wowed by a really cool ceiling. Designed to look like a giant wine barrel, it set the mood for what was bound to be a great meal and attentive service. The kitchen area is open concept so that patrons are able to get up close and personal with the chef as he sears the steaks to perfection. We serve USDA Prime, a tender and juicy cut of meat, that is one of the highest grades of beef found; as well as Wagyu, a Japanese Kobe beef. In addition to these prime cuts of meat, the restaurant will be serving up seafood, potatoes and vegetables with basic (but elegant) appetizers. A wide variety of local beer and wine will be on tap (yup, there is a wine tap) and specially selected to pair nicely with the mains. One of the most unique things about the Meat Market, is that every steak ordered comes branded with their logo (the name will literally be seared into the steak). All the employees are highly trained in both food and wine pairing and are prepared when questioning which local wine would go best with the meal. Each employee goes through extensive training and as part of their preparation, have tried everything on the menu.

Web site gave hours. We went for dinner and found the doors locked. Can’t tell you anything else about it.

We wanted to sit at the bar and dine. They have a cute four seat bar. Great fresh bread to start and we tried the wagu and the regular rib steaks. Not the best I have had but very tasty and great value. I enjoyed a nice bottle of Sterling wine. John our server was real good with great suggestions. I liked the way they served the steaks in pans

Food is excellent. Great service. So nice to have a restaurant that serves a beautiful mix of cooked vegetables, not the same old over cooked carrots or bad frozen variety. My husband and I ordered filet mignon and they were perfectly cooked. All around great meal.

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely delightful experience at Mest Market in Niagara Falls. It was our first time there and our server Elizabeth was amazing! She took the time to explain the menu and also made delicious drinks!!

The steaks and melt-in-your-mouth good and the dessert was incredible! We had the creme brûlée and I would have eaten 10 bowls if I could have!

Great service, great food and great experience!

Elizabeth was top notch, polite, attentive and very knowledgeable on menu, drinks and dessert.

Food was good all round.
Prepared as requested, hot on arrival at the table.

We had ribeyes and filets that in your mouth.
Mac and cheese with lobster was great.

Ice wine was a great dessert for me but others loved the pecan flan and caramel apple cheese cake with extra caramel sauce.

Great for a special occasion and we will go again but check out menu and pricing online. May be a bit expensive for some.

Casual dress is acceptable as it is a tourist town.
