“Great for the kids!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

It is an annual tradition for me and the kids to come here for lunch - the kids are 8 and 5 - and they love it! The food is overpriced; but, it is Niagara Falls. The portions aren't bad and the food is pretty good, too (not great for what you pay). We have always had great service here - prompt and friendly. The decor (animals and thunderstorms) keep the kids quiet and occuppied - with plenty to look at.
I would recommend it for the experience of it and there can sometimes be a wait to get a table; but, that still doesn't stop us. We will continue to go back for our annual lunch. It is worth it to watch the kids faces.
Parking is a pain - there are no good parking areas near this restaurant. You have to park and walk or pay a pretty penny to park in the area. If you are extremely lucky, you may get a spot on the main street; but, don't count on it.

“Too expensive for the quality”
Reviewed February 28, 2014

A lot of food, price too high for the quality. Really you are just paying extra to see the fake monkeys hanging on the trees

“Simply horrible”
Reviewed February 27, 2014 via mobile

Went to rainforest today, it was a horrible experience. For a dead restaurant it took forever to be seated. We were finally seated and the table was filthy, as was the floor beneath us. Food was extremely expensive, which I guess was fine seeing as how it was Clifton Hill, and would have been fine if the food was remotely passable... It wasn't. The portions were small and the food was atrocious. Didn't even bother sending it back as all of our meals were terrible, and was clearly a representation of the kitchens quality.

The only saving grace was our server Adam. Not only was he prompt and professional, but extremely funny and engaging with my children and myself as well. Hopefully he represents the quality of servers there, however I worry he's simply a diamond in the rough.

Steer clear of this money trap

“Perfect for a Five Yer Old”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

We brought my nephew here. He loved it. The decor and animation were distracting from the actual eating part of our visit, but we had it wrapped up and he ate back at the hotel afterward. It was fun. Very good strawberry daquries for the adults. Happy...not so well fed...kids.
