My husband and I took the kids (ages 2-14) to Niagara for a mini-vacation. The Canadian Midway was fun for all -includes the parents! The little ones were able to play games, ride on the kids rides and the older ones were able to go off and play their own games as well. Yeah, the tokens can be a bit pricey, but what arcade isn't!

The fun part for most kids is collecting their tickets and getting a prize.

The adults are able to have a beer, play bowing etc. A fun for all ages place to visit. (especially if it rains, the fun at Niagara can continue at this place!)

Pretty typical arcade games play place but it was a great time for our kids. In fact we were supposed to go to Maid of the Mist but ran out of time because the kids spent so long here playing the games. Got a coupon out of the travel book that you see everywhere that gave us an extra $5 on tokens when you buy $20. Spacious place. Our kids are 6 and 3 and they had a blast. Prizes were typical but kids were happy. Excellent washroom facilities. I would stop by again if nothing else for the washroom break.

Son and daughter loved this arcade. Spent $20 plus $5 coupon and divided up the chips between the 2 of them. They had a great fun playing for the tickets and traded them in for the typical arcade junk, but it was worth it to see their faces and watch them play the games. I would not spend more than that though.

Travleing with a 7 and 10 year o,d. We spent 20 dollars and had fun for 30-45 minutes. There were a variety of games to play for all ages.

We went early in the day and it was not crowded at all. Later in the day we noticed the crowds got a little heavier.

A few tips
1. The machine gives you sixty tokens for 20 dollars which was plenty for us. (You can buy lesser amounts-this was the maximum qty discount). For better qty discounts above 20 dollars ou can buy tokens from the workers there.

2. Several of yhe coupon books available offer coupons to give you free tomens when you buy larger amounts. Take advantage of this.

3. Bathrooms are very clean. We used this as our stop while traveling around Clifton Hills as you can just walk right in.

The prizes are equivalent to Chuck e Cheese level vs a place like Dave and Buster's. My daughter got a ring that broke before the end of the day.

Still was loads of fun.

We visited "The Great Canadian Midway" numerous times during our Niagara Falls vacation. Our hotel was within walking distance of the falls via Clifton Hill, passing by the Midway along the way. The Midway is just a huge arcade, but probably larger than any arcade I've ever been to. They have a wide variety of games on a few hundred machines. During our visit, I did not notice any "out-of-order" machines, however we did have a problem with one of the skeeball machines, but a staff person quickly rectified the problem.

The place is greatly air conditioned, and during the hot summer afternoons you can feel the inviting cool air just by walking past it on the sidewalk. Everything appeared very clean and modern. The bathrooms are also nice and clean, so it's better to use them than at one of the fast food places along the street.

Admission is free, but you have to purchase tokens to play the games. I think the tokens were 50 cents each, and most games required multiple tokens. The machines to purchase tokens accept both U.S. & Canadian money.

This was a good place to take a break from the heat outside, and get some entertainment while only spending a few dollars. I wouldn't make a special trip just to go to the Midway, but if already in the area I would certainly visit it again.
