“Great Hotel & Service”
Reviewed October 23, 2009

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, located in a quiet and safe area, and is within a 10-minute walk to the Falls. It provides free internet (including free printing), breakfast (a big plus!), and coffee in the lobby. And, unlike some of the more expensive hotels I've stayed at, they don't charge you a fee for other services like storing your luggage or calling a taxi for you. A true hidden gem!

My boyfriend and I stayed here recently just for a couples getawway thing. Our check in took about 5 mins so it was quick and easy.. Our room was basic but very nice, we had a one king bedroom suite with 2 TV's (one in the bedroom and living room). Throughout the stay, we didn't have much contact with hotel staff but they were courteous, nothing overly special. The walk to clifton hill is 10-15 mins or less but its pretty close and far from all the noise at the same time. Ohh and upon check-out we noticed a $6 fee for parking when at check-in we stated that we didnt have a car. It was quickly dealt with though. Besides that, definetly see us staying here again when we visit Niagara.

Our recent stay at Country Inn and Suites was great. We were there for our anniversary and truly enjoyed the special attention and service we received, although I do not doubt they do this for all their guests, too. We were upgraded upon arrival to a Whirlpool Suite, which was such great news for us! The staff was very courteous and helpful, the room was very clean, and the location was perfect for us. A short walk to most everything on the Canada side that we wanted to do (see the Falls, Bird Kingdom, Clifton Hill, Restaurants, shopping). The breakfast was outstanding, considering it was part of our rate. You don't see this much variety in a hotel breakfast most of the time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Location:
Across the street from Casino Niagara. You have to walk down to the Niagaras, which was a small minus, but it is still close to everything.
Our view was excellent. We went for the fourth of July and in the evening we were able to see all of the US lit up in colours. It was beautiful.

Room:
It was equipped with a heart shaped jacuzzi, which the receptionist included for a reasonable price ...and worked out perfectly since we were newlyweds.
The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were a little flat.
The room was tastefully decorated and very clean. Great television with a great deal of channels to surf and free internet was provided.
The bathroom was fully equipped also though it is a bit small in scale.
Break fast the next day was included. We went downstairs to the cafeteria around 9 am and they were already pretty low on things -this was another minus. We still managed to have a good breakfast regardless though.

Parking:
It's not included, but it's a small charge of $6 per night and even though it's not underground, it seemed pretty safe.

Front desk:
The night we checked-in, a young gentleman helped us (can't recall name). He was very helpful, friendly, and polite. He made our night.
The day we checked-out, an older woman helped us (can't recall name either). She wasn't very nice, however. A bit brisk.
(The night we checked-in we noticed a cookie jar which is kept on the front desk. It was full of cookies. The next morning, however, it was empty, and during our check-out, I noticed it still remained empty. No one has refilled the jar.)
The has a computer station in the lobby offering free internet to the hotel guests.

The hotel was conveniently located near the downtown area. The room was clean and sizable. I would recommend this hotel.

We have stayed in a number of more expensive hotels in Niagara Falls and by far this is our favourite. The rooms have lots of space, the hotel is very well kept, staff is incredibly helpful and it also has a great pool / hot tub

A Highly recommended Gem.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to book our adventure pass at the front desk. That is highly recommended. It saved us from having to stand in line at the counters, plus you get 2 days on the people mover bus with that. The room was clean, breakfast was good, and the pool and hot tub were wonderful. We had a whirlpool suite. The whirlpool in the room was a little small but served the purpose. There is a $6 daily fee for parking but that is better than what most places charge. Well worth it.
The hotel is a short distance from Clifton Hill. The walk to the Horseshoe Falls is about 1 mile. You can walk to everything if you're up for it. There is so much to see and do all at your fingertips.
